Yeah. This was my fear. I also wrote about this in my original write up on DLF articles.
Guys sub 190 never pan out well if used to carry the load.

11 touches a game is not "carrying the load" and this injury wasn't size related.
We see RBs of different sizes and builds get injured every season. But, when RBs who aren't big get injured, the blame immediately shifts to size. I just don't see how anyone could watch that play and think "Well, if they were 5'10, 225 lbs, it doesn't happen." It was a normal leg tackle that ended with an abnormal injury. And it's not like he had a ton of volume to that point anyway.
For real. Really weird timing to come victory lapping thoughmurphysxm wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2023 10:28 am11 touches a game is not "carrying the load" and this injury wasn't size related.
Yeah, it seems highly likely that the Ravens bring in RB help next year after another season of heavy injuries at the position.Dynasty DeLorean wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2023 1:55 pm Man that stinks, he was somewhat of a fringe guy as it was, and this basically dooms him for next season and then after that what coach is going to give him enough touches for him to be worthwhile in fantasy. I believe he was already taken off the field in passing situations bc of his blocking. Unfortunate all around.
His size may not have caused the ACL injury but you can be sure any coach will look at his size and look at the injury, and rightly or wrongly conflate the two.
