Ah, here we have arrived at 2nd guessing season…

In a matchup where I’m an underdog, I started Mahomes this week

Goff on my bench with like 50 pts

And of course in another league, where I’m a strong favorite, I go against Goff and now it’s looking like a coin toss going into tomorrow

Pittman now out with a concussion, not a real surprise considering the hit

That was tough. Feel bad for Pittman. Kazee, too. Wasn't dirty. Unfortunate, the ball was a bit overthrown, and Pittman layed out, he was already engaged in the breakup, really nothing he could do. He used his shoulder, and that was once a clean football hit. So tough to play D now. He was in great position, to breakup a pass. Just one of those things, in this game. Hope Pittman is OK.

The truth is he has looked like this since his rookie season , it was the insane volume that tricked people . There is a reason he didn’t run a 40 coming out of Bama , was probably a 4.7 rb then and it’s clear to everyone except Tomlin Warren is by far the better player . When Najee comes around the corner he looks like Big Ben in year 13 . Get whatever you can for him.

Yeah. He's still the same age as Josh Jacobs, and as I argued with Cazzie, age matters for RB's entering the league. Jacobs still has more value, at the end of his rookie deal, than Najee will. Entering the league at 21 vs 23 matters. You can get 5 years out of Jacobs, and actually still trade him for something. Try that after 5 years of Najee. He argued RB's are only good for a few years anyways, and I am adamant that's not the case, when you talk about trade value. A RB who enter the league at 21 vs 23, if they put up the same numbers, will always hold more value, because of those 2 extra years. It's not difficult to understand.

Yeah. He's still the same age as Josh Jacobs

Age matters but not all Rb's are created equal. Some guys are capable of playing well into the late 20's and even early 30's. Najee just never had it, no wiggle, cant break tackles for a big body, runs with lead feet, lateral agility is trash. Off the top of my head I think Warren is the same age as Najee but every time he touches the ball it looks like he has been shot out of a cannon.

Take some solace in knowing you made the right call. I say this as a guy that has O'connell on almost every single roster as a qb 3-4 and he never got a sniff to start a game all year.

Kind of amazing that everyone wanted to say Kenny Pickett was a bum when he carried this sorry team to a winning record. Looks like the worst team in the nfl without him.

Both can be true. Pickett is a bum, but he was marginally better than the current bums they're starting.
