Josh Jacobs trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

With the picks looking late, I understand wanting more. Jacobs has been a huge letdown this year, so hard to say if you get more but I would hold and hope.

Sometimes you just have to take the best deal you can get even if it's not perfect. I think it's fair return for an RB who simply isn't putting up numbers this year. The late pick will be a more appealing asset than Jacobs will next offseason I would think.

I tend to agree with this, but still tough for me. I don’t think Jacobs is suddenly bad (but I could be wrong). Personally think it’s more the situation than anything. If he doesn’t get tagged next offseason he could be in a better situation, but that’s a big if. I could see Jacobs being more appealing than a late 1st in that scenario. Definitely think this is a pretty fair trade as of right now.

I'm not sure Jacobs has been as bad as folks are suggesting. He's performed more or less like the other RBs taken in that range in redraft (Henry, Stevenson, Pollard, etc.). Or maybe they are all disappointing? I think it shows (once again) that you build FF teams around WRs - whether that is dynasty or redraft. Of the top 12 scorers at RB in PPR so far half of them are late round or WW guys in redraft (Mostert, Kyren, Moss, Swift, Pacheco, Achane). CMC is the Kelce of RBs.

I think I’d take that deal but I love Tank Dell and that Texans offense’s potential
