Ridley+ for 24 1st+

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Ridley+ for 24 1st+

Postby SWIMball » Mon Oct 09, 2023 11:53 am

Received an offer today:

Give: '24 1st (Looking like 1.03-1.06 range--not my pick), '25 3rd, Jaleel McLaughlin
Receive: Calvin Ridley, Miles Sanders

I'm trying to compete this season, but keep running into injuries. Still sitting 2-3 after this week, around 6th in the league. 1st place is 3-2. Is this deal worth taking, or should I hold the 1st and hope for better luck with health?

I don't think this deal ages well on value. Even if Ridley continues to play well, his age drops his value and Sanders is not a good fantasy asset at this point. If the pick ends up the 1.03, I think this will hurt in the offseason.

Too pricey. Need something better than Sanders coming back. I'd consider this deal on a serious contender if the RB was a viable starter - Sanders doesn't count.
