I paid retail PLUS 40% markup for J Chase

I am rebuilding, and I sold Ken Walker plus a pair of Firsts from 2 good teams (likely playoff teams, but who knows) for Jamar Chase.

League not in sig. It’s 12T, SF, and you only have to start one RB (but you do have to start 11 players) so nobody pays up for RBs. I tried DESPERATELY to sell Ken Walker for Waddle, Zay Flowers+, London+, adding to Walker to get G Wilson, etc. Not a single counter.

I wanted to move off the RB scoring 20PPG since I’m not competing, and grab a WR scoring (hopefully) similar PPG but with a much longer shelf life.

Same league, I just got the other guy now

Sold Daniel Jones and got Tee Higgins

If it was a deeper SF league I might not have, but given I already have Lawrence, Bryce Young, and Kyler and it’s just a 12T league, I feel like I can afford to miss Daniel Jones (especially considering the fact that I don’t think he’s a good real life QB, so I’m worried he will be a backup within the next couple years)

Understandable. I just generally find WR value to shift so much that trading down tends to be a good move

Last year halfway through the season Christian Watson was a bum and within a month he was like WR14

Quentin Johnston is being written off as a bust today but a strong next month and "Stefon Diggs or Quentin Johnston" will be a real conversation

That’s fair. I don’t think it’s a horrible trade. Just think Higgins was undervalued. There are a lot of “what ifs” in fantasy.

While I agree here, I think Laporta could continue to rise while Kittle falls and Mims is going to continue to gain in value, while Higgins is at his ceiling most likely.

Higgins is on that JuJu trajectory. Just wait until he hits a new team and bombs.
