Undrafted Syracuse RB Sean Tucker got $155,000 guaranteed from the #Bucs, per source. Good opportunity with a team that could have drafted a running back but didn’t.
This is more guaranteed money than some 6th/7th round RBs get in their signing bonuses
https://twitter.com/GrahamBarfield/stat ... Xf1O8tAAAA
So what the author is saying is that every team in the league could have drafted him and paid him less guaranteed than their 6th and 7th rounders but chose not to, and that’s a positive for him?

That said, if there is any RB room where Tucker might have a shot, TB is right at the top of the list. I hope it pans out for him.

Tucker getting called "Baby Nick Chubb" in Tampa. More seriously is their new OC comparing him to Thomas Rawls in terms of his physical running ability. That's huge since I don't believe in Rachaad White's ability to run between the tackles.
League #1- 14 tm ppr, 1Q, 2R, 3W, 1T, 1 R/W/T, 1K

League #3- 12 tm PPR, 1Q, 0R (yes, ZERO RB) 3W, 1T, 2 R/W/T flex, 1 Def

Ooooh, you got some sources for us Pullo? I'm keen to read this! EDIT: Nvm I think I found it

I really really loved his tape, I gotta say. His fall in the draft completely bummed me out... but with the discount now baked in, I am taking shots in the late rounds and loving it.

Yep, that's it.

OC Canales- “Sean Tucker from Syracuse – fantastic runner – he reminds me of Thomas Rawls, who played great for us for a while. But he has that physical run style that we loved that we’re going to love here – he’s going to bring a little punch and attitude to what we do.”

Edit- looks like the quote is from at least a month ago.

Damn, I was hoping for some actual good news. Like him being able to practice or knowing whatever is wrong is behind him. Still been holding in my devy league since last off season.

He's like a faster version of Walter Payton, with the strength of Jim Brown, I'd say. BTW, the only thing the OC could be talking about is what he's seen on tape, because they haven't even put pads on yet.

Currently 4th on the depth chart.

He needs to bring the juice in preseason to claw his way up to 2nd. Or just stick on the roster. That's goal number 1.

We just have to keep in mind that he's an UDFA and there's a steep climb to making the roster. Would not be shocked if he's a cut.

He has a better chance of making it if he can add some special teams value.

Kyle Trask and rookie RB Sean Tucker hook up on a really nice wheel route to the left sideline, with Tucker catching it over the shoulder while running at full speed.

If there is a depth chart to make it as UDFA, it's here.

I think he's got a good shot to make the roster.

I think he's got a good shot to make the roster.
I think that's almost a given. The team knows why he was a free agent, and it wasn't his body of work or his talent or character issues. It was concerns about his body...and those seem to be gone.
To me the question is how high might he rise before the end of the season? I could see him becoming 1B, and with an injury he could suddenly be the starter. I could also realistically see a season of 150 yards with sparingly little use.
I lean toward a more likely rise than a bottom of the roster permanent backup, simply because of where he's coming from, WHY he was a free agent.
