Exactly. Apologists act like he was in the middle of New Mexico without a soul within 100 miles. Fiction can be fun. I also love the “everyone has sped” argument guy. Anyone that speeds over 120 is a selfish moron. No excuses. Is he Henry Ruggs? No…but he is a selfish moron. And it matters because he is neck and neck with guys like QJ, Flowers, and Charbonnet. Stuff like this (as well as other questionable stuff this offseason) is enough to drop him. He’s not THAT good…heck he was drafted AFTER QJ.

Let's be real. NFL players do actually do this stuff all the time. Whether they get caught or not is a different story, but none of these players buy expensive fast cars to drive the speed limit. I don't know if I'd say it's a red flag, but it is very dumb to get caught as a rookie doing this right before camp starts.

Not sure what demonstrates worse judgement…driving 140 mph on a highway or buying a Lamborghini hatchback. Lol

Well, that may be a bridge too far, but definitely seems to be a “Me, Me, Me! Prima Donna”. Maybe T.O. is a better comp, but said AB because it’s more recent and they’re similar receiver types.

I don't think a speeding ticket makes you Antonio Brown or even TO. You might want to revisit the stories on both of those players.

Not all NFL players with personality disorders are elite players. Most can’t keep a lid on the crazy long enough to get to the NF and you never learn their name…and there are plenty that bust when they get to the NFL. I could name at least three Titans off the top of my head. Anywho…so far Addison has shown that he’s pretty dumb and immature. He hasn’t shown that he’s a narcissist…so not ready for the AB/TO comps. I’d say that Josh Gordon is probably a better comp. Gordon had some success…largely by being a freak athlete with talent. But it was short lived because he couldn’t keep a lid on the fact that he needed a brain transplant. Addisons hope is that he is JUST THAT TALENTED that he can achieve some success in spite of himself.

I’d still draft him…but I’d be shocked if I do because there will undoubtably be someone who likes him more in my drafts.

Nothing wrong with TO in my opinion. He had a big mouth, but quite honestly, most of the stuff he got in trouble for saying (related strictly to football) had more truth to it than anyone wanted to admit. TO was one of the hardest workers in NFL history on the level with Jerry Rice and Larry Fitzgerald. He put up nearly a thousand yards at 37.

Yeah there’s a fine line between swagger and knucklehead and it seems like a lot of times in fantasy we usually have to take one along with the other and hope for the best. I usually end up with these type of players. Sometimes it’s really good and sometimes really bad.

If Addison is Antonio Brown after one speeding ticket, at age 23 I must have been Hannibal Lecter. BTW, I went from a young man who drove fast and collected speeding tickets to someone of modest success who hasn't had a speeding ticket in 25+ years. This ticket for Addison means absolute nothing about his future or his character -- to me. Certainly everyone else is entitled to their own interpretation of this incident.
