Take it or leave it?

Postby cowboysfan » Thu Jul 06, 2023 12:09 pm

I’ve been offered Godwin and Mixon for Tyreek Hill. Would you take it or leave it?

My team is a mess but it goes as follows:

QB: Dak, Lawerence
RB: Hubbard, Herbert, Carter
WR: Hill, Olave, Cooper, Evans, Williams, Kirk
WR: Waller, Kmet

Start QB, 2RB, 2WR, RB/WR, TE, Flex

Our rookie draft just started and I have the 1.3, 2.3, 3.3
10 team, ppr.

Thank you again.

I think this helps your overall build more, but if you move Hill, I would look for a better long term RB option if possible. I am still very high on Godwin, but I am not sure Mixon does much for your build past this year. Your build look in need of a retool, so an aging back who has already dropped drastically on value is not a great move.

Easily Hill for me. Your team isn't likely winning a 'ship adding Mixon and Godwin and trading Hill. You have a better chance at competing keeping Hill and hoping to find another RB elsewhere during the season.

If you decide to rebuild, then I'd be looking for a much different package for Hill. He's elite, and neither Mixon nor Godwin are or likely ever will be again.

You know how good Chase is? Hill has been every bit as good and there is absolutely no sign of him slowing. He is a knucklehead and might get suspended/imprisoned one day…but until that time comes he’s likely a top 3 WR.

I like Godwin and mixon but those two don’t really help your build. I would definitely sell hill but look for a package involving younger assets or picks.
