I didn't think there will be a cliff between 8 and 10, especially for SF and TEP. If anything, I would have been trying to use those early 2nds to get into the top 6 from 10. That seems just as possible

I get that, in theory probably similar to an 8 team SF in value. If Lance had more certainty to perform when he starts, or had a longer window to prove himself, I wouldn't be so thrown. Giving the LJax owner Huntley in this format is even more head scratching. If someone wants to send 2.15 with 2nd string Huntley for potential 3rd string Lance, that's a good basis for a trade. Adding Williams as a throw seems excessive.

Alternately, a Williams and Lance trade starts with a massive gap, and I've never been a Williams fan. The pick just makes the gap worse, then throw in his QB1 handcuff.

No matter which way I look at this, I can't make it look even.

Obviously I roster Lance on a team, but even with that said I don't think it's a bad deal to take a shot on his potential upside. I know he's a lightning rod these days for criticism. But looking at meineymoe's QB room, if he could land a starter out of the group it would be a big help behind Hurts. His WR group is just fine, and Williams has always been a boom/bust play. Doesn't feel like anything worth criticizing.

It's a buy low. The price was cheap.

Lots of value added here. Very nice. The 1st deal is the best obviously. Don't know why someone would pass up on JSN just to move up 2 spots in the 2nd
