Tannehill vs Huntley

Postby Weber27 » Thu Dec 08, 2022 11:19 am

Desperation with Lamar and Fields out.

Do I play Huntley vs Pittsburgh or stay safe with Tannehill. I could also pick up Mike White or Purdy or as disgusting as it sounds, play Russell Wilson!?

Help!

Huntley has always done well when Jackson is out. He fits the system perfectly. I would roll Huntley.

I would go Huntley if 4 points for passing TD and Tanny if 6. Kind of a coin flip, but I wouldn't consider Wilson or Purdy

Yes, he's able to operate the same offense, but he's not always doing that well. In his 5 starts last year, he generated 10.7, 17.3, 39.9, 11.2 and 6.8 points in my leagues, with 5 total TDs (4 of them in the same game), 4 INT and 4 fumbles. Last week he had 15.5 points, with the rushing TD (with 0:31 remaining in the game) saving the day. So I'd think that's some pretty inconsistent output.

At least in this week I'd prefer the more steady Tannehill against the #28 passing defense.

It doesn't matter what we want. Once we get it, we want something else.
