E. Moore may see an uptick with a new QB, who knows....Boyd seems like the higher floor.

I am going on this being a start/sit question but either way I would gamble on Moore. Chase and Higgins are well ahead of Boyd.

I do see value in Boyd for a contender, but seems like he's locked in as a high end 3rd option in their offense and that isn't likely changing. The upside of Moore still has him ahead for me, but not if I need depth to win in the short term

I have a difficult time predicting EMoore will ever have better fantasy seasons than Boyd is currently having. The biggest factor holding back Boyd is his status as NOT the WR1 for his NFL team. Aside from EMoore's immaturity that is also the biggest factor capping his fantasy value.

Everyone seems to agree Garrett Wilson is a better WR than EMoore, thus Wilson will be NYJ's WR1. That leaves EMoore currently in a situation where even if his tantrums didn't limit his value Moore would still be in a battle to be NYJ's WR2.5 because a healthy Corey Davis will command significant targets. IMO, that puts Moore in a worse fantasy situation than Boyd because Boyd has a good QB and Moore has ... Zach Wilson.

Even if EMoore was traded, I don't see any options where he would go to a team and be anointed its WR1. Not Arizona, not LARams, not Chicago, not Jax, nowhere. And in many places, EMoore would be fighting to be the WR3. So, if he is WR2.5 at best in NYJ and he is WR2 or worse anywhere else, can someone please tell me why EMoore should be projected to have a better 2-4yr window than Boyd.

Gimme Boyd easy. Unless I have a dead in the water loser of a team and I don't have a chance of winning before 2025. In that case I'll take EMoore because Boyd will be done by then. In any other scenario where my fantasy team is even mildly competitive, I want Boyd.

The NFL is full of athletically talented WRs who can put up short-term numbers when a team is forced to use him as its primary WR. That's what happened with Moore in 2021 - NYJ was forced to use him as its primary WR and he put up nice fantasy stats. That probably won't happen again in the future, anywhere. If he gets his emotions in check, Moore might have a good run as a fantasy WR25-35, but there is also a good probability he ends up stuck in the WR40s ... or lower.

Try this exercise. Go through the FantasyPros list of top scoring WRs for 2022 so far. Determine which of the T32WR EMoore can reasonably be expected to outproduce if he is the WR2.5 on the NYJ. Or even if EMoore ends up as the WR2 in NYG or Atlanta or Houston.

FYI, Boyd is currently WR14 on that list. I'm jus sayin'
