Trading for Hurts?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Going for Hurts?

get Hurts and start in 2023 w/o 1st and 2nd

Trading for Hurts?

Postby smoppelpoppel » Thu Nov 10, 2022 12:58 pm

Hi all,

Playing in a 4 keeper league. I am 8:1, highest scoring team and i think my team is pretty solid. Exception: Brady at QB. Wondering if I should try to acquire Hurts from a low scoring 3:6 team which is probably in nomansland - too good for the 1.01 and to bad for the playoffs. Our league values draft picks very high, so I think I could offer something like Brady/1st 2023 (low) for Hurts/3rd (high). Hurts wouldn't be a keeper for 2023 I think, so just a 2022 rental to improve my chances for winning it all. Would leave me with no 1st and no 2nd for 2023.

Would you try to get Hurts or would you stay put and hope that the Bucs improve?

In a 1 QB, low keeper format, I would not want to give up your 1st to get Hurts but would offer Brady or Jones + Mike Williams and see if that was enough. If the other team is in a rough spot keeper wise too, maybe either QB + Bateman would be intriguing if Bateman could be a young keeper for them?

I think he is set on 4 keepers (Olave, Etienne, Higgins, Lamb). Don't think he'd value Williams higher.

id just target a much much smaller deal that gives you any mid range qb and play the matchups. dont think you need to shoot for a top option if you are 8-1 with brady
team 1
12 team, 1 pt for 4 rec, 0.1 per rush
1qb, 3 rb, 4 wr, te, k, 4 idp
Dak , Herbert
Achane, Breece Hall, KW3Kyren,Ford, Miller, Spiller, z evans, singletary
J Jefferson, Diggs, DK, D Smith Puka, C Watson, E Moore
Njoku , HH, Engram

2024 picks
1,3,4,5,5,6,7 (all late mostly)

team 2
12 team .5ppr
qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, te, flx,flx,
Fields, Dak
Ford,Mixon, Javonte, Mostert, Chubb, Spears
Hopkins, Evans, g Wilson Mingo, shaheed, Jamo
Kelce,McBride, Chig,

1,2,3,3,5

team 3
14 team sf, even scoring idp to offense (rb scores highly too)
Josh Allen, A Rich, Foles, Rudolph
Bijan, Charbs, Spears, Ebner
J Williams, G Wilson, C Watson, Flowers, J Addison, Tillman
Kincaid, Kolar, Ruckert, Fergeson

Kenny Clark, josh allen, jaelen phillips, felix a-u and a bunch of fluff and rookie fliers at idp
