I feel I overpaid but I could definitely use the help at RB and TBH, this was also a c-block move. The other contenders have actively been in an arms race over the last couple weeks stripping all assets from the rebuilding teams, so I wanted to keep Dalvin off of their rosters almost as badly as I wanted him in my own lineup

I def just overpaid for mahomes in standard 1 qb league where all tds are 6 points. I don’t feel awful about it either

I’m trying to pull out of a rebuild and over the last few years have been able to build through trades and the draft a decent looking team of mahomes,swift,higgins,dj Moore,aiyuk,goedert,rondale Moore, mecole hardman,kadarius toney, Alec pierce Hopefully I can address my rb2 in tbe upcoming draft as right now it’s currently Melvin Gordon

I like it and I'm not sure it's really that much of an overpay if any, considering what Mahomes brings to the table. In 6pt td leagues, Mahomes can save your butt any given week as he should be your top point scorer. I'm in 3 leagues. 9-0, 8-1, and 6-3 this year. One common theme, they all have Mahomes. Live and die by the sword, but when he's on fire you'll be tough to stop. Moore and the 2nd I wouldn't worry much about. Watson is good but not a HOF player like Mahomes at this point in his career...A 24 first, that hurts to lose, but Mahomes will still be your starter in 2024 and beyond. Good investment in turning your team around with a cornerstone piece like Mahomes.

It made it easier to part with the 2024 first when I had two to work with I didn’t mind giving up the one that’s projected to be middle of the pack. Some would say that the upgrade from mahomes to Watson isn’t worth it but I’m more inclined to believe that Watson won’t be what he was prior to suspension and the browns being a primary running team may cap Watson a but. Either way I’m happy with it and the qb market in our league is kinda cornered at the moment
