As someone who isn’t super high on Davis, I agree. I think PPG are a little misleading in my opinion with him because of his boom games. He’s as likely to put up a low score as a week winning one much like Tyler Lockett in past years. I’d much rather have the projected early pick, but I can see the argument. No veto.Ice wrote: ↑Sun Oct 16, 2022 5:45 am In ppr leagues so far this season only 3 rookie WR/RB's are averaging more PPG than Davis who just became starter late last year in his own right.
Owners can be such children sometimes.
While most like those shiny draft picks when no name or no production is associated with it, the reality is this isn't close to a veto worthy trade in any format especially in a non ppr league regardless of ones view on Davis.
THIS trade has started trade approval talk in league?!? EDIT!?

Big play young WR tied to Josh Allen in a no-ppr non-superflex isn't that bad to veto. Haven't seen team roster for the one receiving G. Davis but maybe he wins a gm or two because of trade and ends up with a mid 1st
Jakobi is doing well enough being a safety blanket type for Mac Jones but isn't an every week starter guy. On a bad week Gabe isn't a worse option than Meyer. On a good week he's a game winner. Of course health & availability have been an issue but both have missed time.
Not even remotely close enough for a veto . How it looks at the end of the season could change wildly. If it ends up Bijan / 1.01pick then it wasn't a wise deal. Guessing the guy isn't planning on finishing last

This is a bad owner remaining bad trade imo. Nothing more than that.
What I mean by that is the early 1st could have gotten WAY more than Davis.

And as of this minute, I think it's only 1 or maybe zero.
Childish and irrational, like children.
I've always taken a side-eye to NFL WR2s being treated like fantasy WR1 royalty by some fantasy managers. It makes no sense to me to put Aiyuk/Higgins/etc on a pedestal but willfully ignore the virtual similarities to someone like Gabe who gets dinged for personal preference.
If that trade had been Higgins instead of Gabe, no one would have complained. Yet so far in 2022, Gabe is outproducing Higgins. Both are NFL WR2s stuck behind tru-blu WR1s. Both Gabe and Tee produce similar stats when both start similar snap percentages. And this year, both are neck and neck. Yet this trade gets owners riled up, while one replacing Higgins for Gabe would not upset anyone. Except maybe owners who think another 1st was needed to equal the mighty Higgins.
