How many is too many? QB edition

Postby KCLep20 » Thu Sep 01, 2022 10:18 am

League setup: 12 team league, 12 keepers per year (no limit on how long to keep and no round penalty) with an active roster of 16 and 2 Taxi spots (can only be put on taxi 1x/year). Full roster details in signature line.

So my question is, how many QB's is too many given our tight roster limits & keeper settings? I've currently got 5 QB's (post-draft) and it seems excessive....do I drop Tannehill hoping to start Burrow/Tua until week 10 when there's a bye? I'm stoked about Pickett/Willis for 2023+ but if I drop Tannehill, I'd be looking at a WW of Geno, Trubisky, Flacco if someone went down and I had to replace him. With that, not overly excited about Tannehill with AJB gone.

For what it's worth, this is our first year having a superflex so the league is trying to adjust.

Appreciate it!

I would keep the QBs but, depending on scoring settings, I would look to consolidate Tua + RB for a higher tier QB. With a shallow starting lineup (start 8 with 2 QBs), you gain a bigger advantage with 2 top QBs, imo. And with shallow benches, the waiver wire will be bountiful with spot start RBs, if needed.
