Giants are getting hit hard (not that CJ was going to lead them to the SB, just feels like a lot of injuries over there)
Toney of course tweaked his hammy too like the fragile little fella he is.

tbh Giants have a bunch of injuries every year to the point that I think they have a legitimately bad athletic staff as part of their franchise, players always seem to get hurt more often and/or more severely with the Giants and it seems like they take longer to recover as well, don't have any stats on hand to back that up right now but it's something I've observed over the past 7-8 years

I agree with this. Could be terrible facilities as well, but I can’t think of a New York Giants star receiver who isn’t constantly getting injured or didn’t have their career significantly diminished by a major injury…

I still think Hakeem Nicks was ruined by injury. He could have been good.

The other Steve Smith. Plaxico Burress shot himself in the leg… not sure if that counts.

Ha I was going to include Nicks and Plax but they seemed like a stretch to go back that far and Plax was self inflicted

I know, but you’re basically going back to Amani Toomer for the last time the Giants have had a receiver able to play more than a couple seasons without a major injury or a litany of minor ones. Even Golden Tate, who had missed all of two games since his rookie year, has missed multiple games in both of his seasons in New York.

Things haven’t exactly been going great for the Jets either, though they’ve had quite a few less good players to begin with, so maybe that’s why we don’t notice it as much.

I know it doesn't impact fantasy much, but the Colts losing Sanchez is a blow. He is a special teams weapon.
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts

It makes sense to me ... MetLife turf sucks!

As a 49ers fan that place scares me more than Jimmy G winding up for a deep shot https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/metl ... ers-player
