Cam Akers vs the rookies of 22

For a solid team, if Akers was available in your rookie draft would he be the 1.01? Would he be more like top 5? Or, would he be worth WAY more than the 1.01?

I am extremely low on Akers and realize he was working his way back to health last year but rushing a come back hurt him in my opinion. His stats were awful in the playoffs despite a large workload and I think he is overvalued currently. Outside of a small stretch, Akers has not been very good in general. I would take Akers with a late 1st/early 2nd in this class at the earliest. He is nowhere near an early 1st in my opinion.

I don't think he'd make the first round for me. I think I would rather have James Cook than him. I have never been high on Akers though.

Rookie Akers without the Achilles tear? I think He'd probably be the top RB for me although you could probably make an argument of him vs. Breece. Akers now? I think I'd put him below Breece and Walker but I wouldn't lower him compared to any of the other RBs tbh, I think he's still got what it takes to be a three-down workhorse regardless of what McVay says about Henderson.

Compared to the WRs I would probably take London, Olave and Garrett Wilson (although I hate the Jets landing spot because of Zach Wilson, I think he'll get plenty of targets on that team) and if the news turns around on Burks and he starts lighting up camp I could possibly be talked into him over Akers as well.
