Aaron Jones, Robbie Anderson, 2022 3.08, 2023 Round 3 Pick
For my
Bateman, Hockenson, 2022 Pick 2.02, 2023 Round 2 Pick

10 Team MFL Classic League PPR
1QB , 1-2 RB , 2-3 WR, 1-TE, 1-K , 1-D
QB- Rogers
RB- Jacobs, J.Rob, Singletary, Sony M
WR- Chase, Evans, Cooper, MT, Mike Williams, Pittman, Bateman, Golladay, Shenault, Reagor
TE- Hock, Everett
K- Prater
Picks- 1.10 2.10 3.10

It's not good, but it's not completely off the rocker. You have WR depth and your RBs are trash so you could bite. Ultimately there's too many pieces and wishful thinking on their part to actually make it happen. Hock for Jones would be a better start and then add in some piece to make up the difference.

That's off the rocker for my money.

Aaron Jones and Robbie don't even equal Bate and Hock to me AND he's getting slapped on the picks. And no, I'm not accepting a 28 year old RB for a possibly top 5 TE who is just beginning to enter his physical prime at the second-hardest position to learn in the NFL.

I would tell the owner to strongly reconsider sending more offers unless they're going to actually be worth looking at if it was me.

I was scratching my head reading the previous comment. The trade that was offered was bad, not what it could be or that I need a RB. I don’t think anyone here would move Bateman, Hockenson, 2022 Pick 2.02, 2023 Round 2 Pick for Basically Aaron Jones. Doesn’t matter how bad they needed to add a RB.

Man people wonder why I absolutely hate trading...

Guy in my league put in his trade bait he's looking for a TE, so I offered him D. Knox for the 2.6 rookie pick (depleted devy draft, best asset is probably Alec pierce which means I'm losing about 14 spots according to DLF rankings).

He counters with:

I give Pickens, E. Moore, Knox.
I get 2.6, 2023 4th.

So not only lose 14 spots in the rankings on the Knox exchange but give him Pickens and Moore for free.
PSA - Haggling is NOT the same as negotiating.

Wow. I mean, Knox alone is totally worth the 2.6. Probably more, from what I hear. EMoore is worth maybe a late 1st. JFC. LOL.

Give: T. Pollard, Josh Palmer, Quez Watkins, 2023 3rd round pick

Get: Chuba Hubbard, Chris Conley, I. McKenzie (who I just dropped from my roster a couple days ago), S. Gilmore + B. Jones (2 waiver-wire-level IDPs)
3x teams in 32-team standard PPR + IDP leagues

It doesn't matter what we want. Once we get it, we want something else.

Give: Kupp

Get: 2023 3rd rounder, likely very late + 2024 1st rounder, likely late (since it's a 32 teamer, this means likely no earlier than #20 overall)

Get: Aaron Rodgers

Give: Hockenson, two first rounders (2023 + 24), two second rounders (2023)

I mean, I could use a QB upgrade on that team, but not that desperately.

Dude sounds like you could use a few "leaguemate" upgrades. These are seriously complete bleep offers.

I wouldn't mind that, but it's hard to find decent 32 team leagues, and I don't want to go back to smaller leagues. In this format, there are a few new owners needed every year, and often it's possible to tell that they are new to deep leagues or dynasty at all by the way they handle their roster and the rookie draft. About 1 or 2 out of 10 offers I get are even worth a second look.

Not a great offer if you’ve already got a viable starting QB, but otherwise QBs are usually untouchable in 32 team leagues (assuming you have to start 1). Likely the highest scoring position and only just enough for every team to have one (and even then, someone is stuck with a Geno Smith/Drew Lock type). If those are late picks, it’s not an obscene price to pay for a QB in that format.

I guy in my league - who is a notorious trade offering idiot - offered the following to me in our 12 team rookie draft:
I give: 3.04 and 5.11
I get: 4.06 and 5.01

So I would move back 14 spots between the 3rd/4th rounds to move up 10 spots in the 5th.

I asked him, if this was reversed would you do it? His response: 'In a heartbeat'. Like someone else said, people wonder why I hate trying to negotiate with people.
