Waddle trade / Hall

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Waddle trade / Hall

Postby Martpe » Sat May 14, 2022 9:35 am

For the team in sig, we have the draft upcoming in a week. The Waddle owner is very interested in my 1.01 (Hall will be his pick as he needs RBs). He has shown interest to make a deal, and is ready to add a bit (albeit not a first) with Waddle as center piece. With my team in mind would you take the deal with only a minor add (or how much would you need on top).
Team 1, 0.5 PPR SuperFlex: QB, FlexQB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, Flex
QB: Watson, Herbert (Mariota)
RB: Barkley, Jacobs, Dobbins (Akers, K Herbert)
WR: DJ Moore, Woods, Golladay (T Patrick, Shenault, Rondale M, Cephus)
TE: Goedert (Njoku, Bryant, Trautman)
Pick 1.01

Im pretty high on Waddle but I think the value is with Hall. Hall is being valued as a top 7 back already. Hold.

Sorry, with Hill there now and Tua not a top QB, I want the first to go with Wadds. It's a bit of an overpay, but he is the one buying and you are the one selling.

Waddle gets a significant downgrade with Hill there. No other way to slice it. Targets are king, and he won't get peppered like he did last year, now that Tyreek is there. I would want an early/mid first on top of Waddle to move Hall, because a RB with Hall's profile is so hard to attain.

Seeing that it's only 0.5 PPR, this makes the value even more on the Hall side.
