League Mission Statement: To provide an overall low-stakes, fun experience for all league members that strives for competitive parity. The league rules, dues, and prizes/payouts are all structured to maximize activity, fairness, fun, and commitment for all owners as well as league longevity and owner retention.
League Basics:
- 16 teams, 14 starters, 30 player roster, 2 IR slots
- 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLEX (RB/WR/TE)
- 1 DT/DE, 1 LB, 1 CB/S, 2 FLEX (DT/DE/LB/CB/S)
- LeagueSafe will be used to collect league dues (Majority Rules)
- League dues are due 2 years in advance (2x to begin, 1x each season after)

I am looking for committed teams to join a new start-up dynasty league. This is not a winner-takes all league. The goal will be to provide a league that keeps all owners interested year-round, every year. To ensure this, league dues are high at $200 per season, but every team gets a payout of $100 for no missed lineups (my hope is this is easy for everyone) or $50 for no more than 2 missed lineups. Payouts include 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, consolation bracket winner, division champs, conference champs, most points, most improved team, highest points by rookies, most points scored against, and more. $200 (6.25%) will be placed into an Empire pot which will be awarded every 5 seasons as outlined below. 100% of league dues go to site fees of the prize pool, and 100% of money not paid out gets rolled into the Empire pot. The goal here is to encourage team/roster development, the rookie draft, and fun for rebuilding teams while discouraging win at any cost and then run scenarios (no LA Rams/F them picks here please). Rebuilding teams will still have a shot to at least break even, not just fund the prize pool for others. I hope that this prevents having to fill orphan teams very often, as this seems to be a common problem, and having orphan teams set up for success if/when we do.
I have been playing FF for 20 years and have been in/helped run franchise/dynasty Madden-based leagues just as long. With that said, I will be perfectly up front and say that this is my first Dynasty league, but it is not my first time setting up or running a franchise/dynasty type league. I like to think I know the effort required up front to make a league that will be successful for the long-term. I am receptive to any feedback/suggestions on league rules, although the above concept is my overall goal for the league.
