What do I do with these two guys? I have Wagner, Brooks, Devin White and I Simmons to complete my LBs. We play best ball with 2 LB spots, so it behooves me to have as many points as possible. Cunningham is playing more because Kirksey is injured. Queen just doesn't seem to get it and is now playing a reduced role (and more outside).
My options are to hold Cunningham and Queen, ride out the season and hope they perform (will they rebound in 2022?) or...
Replace with a veteran or a younger guy. Our waiver window closes for the season on Thursday. Available LBs:
Grugier-Hill
Josh Bynes
TJ Edwards
Kenneth Murray
Monty Rice
Ernest Jones
The top 3 are obviously short term solutions. The last 3 are long term plays. So, I'm torn...
1.5 points/tackle, 0.75/assist. I'm currently in first place.

Re: Cunningham and Queen
Cunningham has been one of the main disappointments in IDP this year.
I'm not sure what is wrong with Queen. You may be right as far as "doesn't seem to get it". I haven't been following Queen at all this year.
Of the 6 other names listed I like Ernest Jones and Monty Rice for 2022 and beyond. I don't think they outscore Cunningham or Queen the rest of 2021 though as Jones and Rice would be long term plays only, but then again we are talking about Linebackers and anything can happen with this position week to week.
If it was me personally, I would keep Queen. He is so talented and if he can be at all consistent he will put up good numbers.
What you do with Cunningham probably comes down with your thoughts on him moving forward. He will be 27 next month, but has a good chunk of change coming his way next year.

Re: Cunningham and Queen
i would bomb cunningham and take kenneth murray. him and queen had good rookie seasons, and are struggling a bit in their second year for different reasons, but both young, promising and with good draft capital. also, it's murray's birthday today.

Re: Cunningham and Queen
Just traded K. Murray for a 2022 4th, 2023 3rd and 2023 4th. Tired of dealing with LAC LBs.killer_of_giants wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 3:26 am i would bomb cunningham and take kenneth murray. him and queen had good rookie seasons, and are struggling a bit in their second year for different reasons, but both young, promising and with good draft capital. also, it's murray's birthday today.

Re: Cunningham and Queen
In the league you’re describing, you might as well treat it as a redraft league. No real point in stashing young LBs if they aren’t playing at least 2/3 snaps right now.
Drop Cunningham easily, grab either KGH or Bynes.
Probably drop Queen and grab the other of those 2. If you want to keep Queen I get it tho. At least it’s not like he’s benched completely.

Re: Cunningham and Queen
Agree; Queen has been a major disappointment. His vision is just terrible. He really doesn't anticipate, he guesses and isn't very good at it.lukkynumber13 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 19, 2021 12:09 am In the league you’re describing, you might as well treat it as a redraft league. He does have a ton of desire so the light bulb could go off at some point.
He is like a high 1st round RB that simply isn't playing like a a 1st round pick. Not sure I would cut him. Personally think if they move him to MLB he would be better than the Will LB.
He is a next year player. He will be great or an after thought pretty soon.

Will be interesting to see where Cunningham lands after being placed on waivers this morning.

Re: Cunningham and Queen
I ended up getting rid of Cunningham and getting Murray, not that Murray has done anything, but at least he's younger.
Held Queen and will be trying to trade him in some sort of package deal this off season.
