Help! Rookie Draft Tomorrow!

Hey guys, I could really use some help! I have my rookie draft tomorrow and I have picks 1.01, 1.07, and 1.09. It’s a 16 team league and I need a QB (current is Tua). Because it’s 16 team, QB holds a value somewhere between standard and superflex. I’ve talked with other league members and have a pretty good feel how the draft will fall all the way to 1.09. Which combo of players would you like best coming out of the draft? Lance, Chase, Williams or Lance, Harris, Smith or Lawrence, Williams, Waddle? Appreciate your input!

Look like the best trio for me. You may have to wait on Lance for a bit though.

Chase is my 1.01 and if there is a way to trade up with your other two picks and grab Lawrence, I would go that route depending on price.

Here is how I would have the top 9 picks in the draft play out for your league settings:

Harris
Chase
Pitts
Lawrence
Lance
Etienne
Fields
Williams
Wilson

Obviously you know your league better than any of us do, and it could play out differently, but I'd imagine those are the top 9 that will most likely come off the board. If I'm you and I really need a QB I'd look to move back from 1.01 to 1.03 or maybe 1.04 where you can still get a top 3 QB and collect some additional value.

I'm in a similar league without the draft capital.
I see the top tier as Lawrence, Harris, Chase and Pitts, and each if those players are probably on their own tier atop their positions. Any one is a solid, viable 1.01.

Looking at the next tier, Fields and Lance, Williams and Etienne, and Waddle, Smith, etc...

Of your options, I prefer the one with Lawrence at the top. I think the gap in the top qb tiers is greater than the gaps at the other skills positions.

Of course, team need and build could influence my decision - I wouldn't even rule out drafting 2 qbs.

Your roster? Is this your 1.1 that your team "earned" or through a trade? Starting requirements, etc. Need a bit more info.

Thanks for the feedback! I didn’t post my roster because it’s pretty bare. I have by far the most salary cap room in the league and most other teams are a bit strapped (we follow the NFL salary cap). We have a free agent auction following g the rookie draft and there are quite a bit of receivers available. It’s also a start 11 IDP league. My key offensive players look like this: Tua, Darrell Henderson, McLaurin, Michael Thomas, Logan Thomas. I’ve been a contender most previous years, but I’m in the midst of a quick rebuild.
