What do you guys think the impact of Simmons is on Budda? I know they have announced tha Simmons will play LB but will this majorly affect Budda stats? Or is this an illusion.

I currently have an offer to get Budda for Antonio Gibson and I’m trying to weigh the risk.

I think it undoubtedly has an impact, though Buddha has room for regression. If nothing else, Simmons is another guy who will be roaming the field and be capable of eating tackles due to speed and versatility. Budda put up tough to repeat tackle volume. I’d expect him to still be a top 10 option. Depends on the acquisition cost though, and after his year it’s probably tough to buy.

As for cost of Gibson...that depends on a lot of variables.

Budda scored 480 points last year. Lindsay who is ranked right above Gibson scored 325 points to give an example.

I think they can easily coexist, I think Budda might play in the box less, but I remember last off-season when people were fading Budda too, saying he’d play more FS... and look what happened. I expect another top 5 season from Budda.
