Ke'Shawn Vaughn?
I'm an extremely reluctant owner of Vaughn (he just kept falling in a startup). General thoughts on him? I'm not sold on 3+ years of production, but maybe he does something for a couple years.
Re: Ke'Shawn Vaughn?
Fools gold imo, hes not the RB of the future for TB.

Re: Ke'Shawn Vaughn?
Situation based hype for a guy that isn't even assured the lead role, and certainly not a long-term role. He's fine for the right price, but many are inflating his worth beyond his true risk level. If you have a true believer in your league than he probably already owns him, but if not, I'd try to sell. He just feels like so many situation based guys who have failed to pan out. I'd rather just navigate elsewhere.
Re: Ke'Shawn Vaughn?
I too grabbed him in a startup when he kept falling. Not a big believer, but if he has a good run, maybe I can move him for far more than I paid (7.10).
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.

Re: Ke'Shawn Vaughn?
Add me to the pile. Didn't really want him, but by making a series of trades, moving the 1.02, and 1.04 for the 1.05 (Took Swift), 1.07 (took Lamb), and '21 and '22 1sts, I had a pressing need at RB so when he was still floating around at 2.04 I pulled the trigger. Also have Jones which made acquiring him more attractive. Having overfilled my roster, I'm trying to make trades, and he's a guy I'm floating, debating making a deal w/him or other guys, but just don't have anyone I want to trade lol after piling up all the WR's I liked other than Jeudy and Reagor and Aiyuk in the top 10 or so of this draft.

Re: Ke'Shawn Vaughn?
I think the counter-hype is pretty strong on this guy. People talk about him like he’s a trash player with no hope, but are all over Kelley in LA, who is no less situation based and, to me, looks like a much worse running back. If you get him in the mid-2nd or later, he’s a very solid pick. He’s a substantially faster version of Vick Ballard and if Arians hadn’t moved on from Indy when he did, (and Ballard didn’t tear his ACL and then his achilles in successive seasons) Ballard might’ve had a nice little run.

Re: Ke'Shawn Vaughn?
Big, fast, can catch, 3rd round draft capital in a loaded class. TB also appears to be catering to TB12 more than trying to make him fit the Arians system.
I think he'll be a legitimately good, not great talent in a tremendous offense. I think he's discount Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
Then there's the bottom line: Even if he's as bad as Sony Michel, he can still have a productive year in a Brady led offense and be flipped for a high price at the deadline or next offseason. And that's about all you could ask for in an RB, where nothing is guaranteed long-term.

Re: Ke'Shawn Vaughn?
Well in a rookie only draft where I am atrocious at RB, I took Justin Jefferson over him at 1.10. If that tells you anything

Re: Ke'Shawn Vaughn?
good call, I passed on him completely. AJ Dillon gives better value

I tried to trade back for Dillon, but couldn't find a taker. Doubt he makes to me at 2.10

Re: Ke'Shawn Vaughn?
I would trade him after he has a Zach Stacy impact at some point in the season. If that is even the guy's name, who had a short run of success.

Re: Ke'Shawn Vaughn?
I think he's perfectly fine after your favorite second tier WR's are off the board, I just wouldn't take him ahead of Big 4 WR's, or the Big 5 RB's, after that, it depends upon how you rank/like the next set of WR's. There's basically about 4 more WR's I'd rather have so for me he becomes worth the pick around 2.03 or 2.04, and a value if he's still there at 2.06 and beyond.

Re: Ke'Shawn Vaughn?
I think the difference is that Vaughn is being taken in the late 1st to mid 2nd range.... I got kelley in the middle of the 5th. its alot less risky to take a guy like that in the last round of the rookie draft, then in the first 2. If Vaughn was being taken that late i dont think you'd see as much "counter-hype"ericanadian wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 8:35 am I think the counter-hype is pretty strong on this guy. Re: Ke'Shawn Vaughn?
This years Darrell Henderson, but he won't reach the same levels of insane hype because the draft is much stronger/clearer at the top this year. He's going late 1st in most of drafts, I wouldn't touch him until at least mid 2nd.

Re: Ke'Shawn Vaughn?
For sure, but I see a lot people saying that he fell so far they had to take him, but arent excited about it at all. If he falls to the mid to late second, I’m down (though I play 16 team leagues, so factor that in) and I’m happy to have him.ThunderTung wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 11:19 amI think the difference is that Vaughn is being taken in the late 1st to mid 2nd range....
