Breaking the record might be a stretch, but I certainly expect sub 4.35 and he has a good shot at sub 4.3

He's a projected top 10 (probably 5) pick so there's no reason for him not to declare. I thought I read somewhere his first real official checkup will be after the draft though to know if he'll have a clean bill of health so it could be a gamble to whoever drafts him. If he doesn't get cleared he still has his degree to fall back on.

The question now (landing pending) arises where do you select him in a fantasy draft. There's so much talent with RB/WR this year so could he be had in the mid-2nd round (1QB)?
I can't see a team taking him top 10-15 if they don't have his medicals fully vetted. Way too much $$ and risk in that spot. That said it prolly means the Bears mortgage their next 5 yrs of draft capital to move up to 2 to draft him.

Who know. He hit something like 24.3 MPH on the field. I've heard multiple analysts say 4.2's, so it's possible.

If the medicals check out, I think so. I have 1.01 and 1.02 in a best ball SF, and I may take Burrow and Tua. Already have Wentz, Carr and Haskins, but locking those 2 up would be sweet, despite passing on a really good RB or WR.

Do you have tomorrow's lotto #s too? I love how you respond with such certainty when we & Tua therefore also the NFL have "good reports" but nothing concrete on his injury yet. Even Tua has stated the 3 & 4 month points are the tell tale which the 3 month will be just before the combine & the 4 month just after it.

He's that highly regarded of a prospect, at that valuable of a position, and he wouldn't have come out if there were that much concern over his injury prognosis.

Different circumstances, but this time last year a lot of people were saying Kyler Murray would be no more than a 3rd round pick, when it was blatantly obvious he would go top 10. It will be the same with Tua, he's too good and at too valuable of a position, it's going to happen.

I agree, I don't think there is much chance he goes past 15 unless next we hear the leg has been amputated.

This would probably be the smartest thing for the Bears to do actually.

Which means they won't. The Bears are only capable of making good decisions on the defensive side of the ball apparently.

Quintez Cephus (WR-WIS) declared. Anyone have any insight on him? I'm a Wisconsin homer so I know a little about him, but just curious if anyone else thinks he could be a late round sleeper. Runs crisp routes, solid attributes, but a brief checkered past.

If he tests half-decent I'll probably try to grab him. You can just tell sometimes if a dude is a baller, and this one is. I especially liked how shifty he is after the catch, very hard to take down, just finds a way to get every yard available.

This line summed up exactly what I was thinking when I read the original question. I had no clue who he was prior to year. Watched a couple of Wisky games and he definitely jumped out both times. Haven't done any research on hi yet, so that is my only real opinion.

YouMightDieTryin you have any more detailed thoughts being a fan?
