Thoughts on this PPR offer?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Thoughts on this PPR offer?

Postby Buckhill Bombers » Wed Apr 17, 2019 9:19 am

My team is a loaded contender. So if I don't need the depth, wouldn't you make this trade in a PPR league?

Give: Crowder, 1.11, 2.10
Get: 1.6

It seems pricey but I could afford to do it...although it doesn't mean I should...

Is there someone you are targeting at 1.6? I don’t value the 2.10 as anything in this years draft and same with crowder. I don’t think it’s a bad move at all if there is someone you are set on grabbing. If you are doing it to just do it, I may think otherwise.

If you like someone at the 1.06 on draft day, I don't think this is an overly pricey deal at all

Seems like an overpay to move up those 5 spots. If you get your target though, it isn't awful I guess.

on one hand its kind of an overpay to move up without knowing who's available.
On the other hand, with this draft class, I think that no matter what someone's 1.01 or 1.02 will be available at 1.06, so all you need to do is find that person and you can probably trade for more.

All in all though i'd probably pass on that trade.

I am guessing 1.6 will end up Montgomery or Butler/Metcalf. So I keep flirting with the idea...

I would be stunned if Metcalf fell to 1.06

This is extremely cheap to move up 5 spots in the 1st. I'd do it regardless of whether or not I'm competing, rebuilding, have depth, need depth, or whatever other possibilities there may be.

Even if you aren't targeting anyone special, I do it for the roster space. I don't think Crowder is anything on a strong contender.

Gimme the 1.06. Crowder and the 2.10 are both meh. If nothing else, 1.06 will get you more if you sell when on the clock.
