YAT is so oversimplified its practically useless. It doesn't take into account the quality of the taser operator, or the fact that many crimes are not taserable, like tax evasion and getting hand jobs in Florida massage parlors.
I prefer COR (Crimes Over Replacement). It measures the cost of actual criminal activity compared against an average NFL player or employee and doesn't differentiate between violent crime and white collar crime.
