I voted for Moncrief but I think it might be close. I wouldn't be surprised if Washington outproduced him though.

This is a great sighing for Pittsburgh. They needed to bring in a veteran outside receiver to keep Ju Ju in the slot. This is definitely a boost for Moncrief's value.

It feels like a million years ago now, but the vertical game was Moncrief's best skill as a WR back at Ole Miss. Then he went to the Colts and they decided to ignore him in that capacity.

Somehow, he's still only 25. Moncrief was sitting at the end of my bench and I was planning on making him a cut. Now I have to figure out what to do with him.

Anyway. I voted Moncrief, barely. Right now, he's better at the first and second level than Washington. I think Washington is already a better third-level catcher though, especially when contested, so I might regret my vote later.

Also: anyone else irrationally irritated by that stupid air-guitar celebration Moncrief always does? Every time I see it I wonder how much practice he put into it in front of a mirror.

He practices on an acoustic for 3 hours every week to get the realism, and the raw intimacy of the unplugged instrument down, before he does any of that, so lay off.

That's actually one of the funniest observations I've read on these forums.

I picked Moncrief, may just be wishful thinking on my part as I always believed in the kid and have him in multiple leagues but I really think he has a shot to step up this year as a solid WR2 {I play in larger leagues so that would probably make him a WR3 in a 10 team league }

Have to say that for me this is a solid spot for Moncrief. Basically did a year in purgatory - aka Jacksonville - and got rewarded for it.

Technically the question was who would have the best season not who would breakout. Moncrief does not need to break out if everyone else does worse too.

However Moncrief put up respectable (from NFL perspective) production in a pretty bad situation last year. I think he at least has a chance to do WR2-3 production (800-1000 yards) in what looks to be a much better situation.
