You forgot about the Browns that fast? LolArrylT wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 8:01 pm I cannot recall at any time a team giving up on a QB drafted in the top half of a draft after 1 year. I guess the closest would be the Bills with EJ Manuel but even he was the starter going into Season II (got replaced by Orton who then retired after the season & Marrone bailed on the Bills).
Always a first time that a team drafts back to back 1st round QBs but I think thats really unlikely (not impossible). I would be more concerned if they signed another Bradford type who could steal the job & take the team under their wing (sort of like the Fitzpatrick/Winston situation in 2018).
Both Brady Quinn and Johnny Manziel were pick 22 - so not top half zone. Quinn had the unfortunate luck to be behind Derek Andersons magical season and themn after that the Browns were in full dumpster fire mode with Romeo Crennel being replaced by Eric Mangini. Johnny Football - well he had personal demons - nothing suggests Rosen (so far) has off-field concerns.Jigga94 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 8:16 pmYou forgot about the Browns that fast? Lol Jesus, hate the kid much?
quickest way out of a coaches, GM, team (especially OL), fans and yeah everyone elses favor. Show that you don't care when your team is sucking and your the new guy who's proven jack all.
well, i mean that depends. you can't just throw out a terrible rookie year. Most franchise Qb's look at least competent their rookie year. Who else looked lost their rookie year and turned out to be pretty good. Can't think of any off the top of my head aside from Goff, although i'm sure there are more.
