Offer for Mixon

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Offer for Mixon

Postby Krissi24 » Wed Jan 16, 2019 8:56 am

I am not looking to move Mixon as I only have him, Aron Jones, Derrick Henry and Elijah McGuire.

But I have received an offer that I think I need to consider.

Give Mixon

Get Chris Carson, 2x 2020 1st, 1.06, 2.06, 3.08.

The 2020 1st, I would expect to be top 6 picks, but you never know. Should I be able to get a RB in 2020 that would be of same value as Mixon.

That’s solid value but I would keep Mixon. I’d wanna see a couple of those picks swapped out for a young, upside player before I’d consider it.

Unless you're a strong contender, I'd happily take the picks.

Very solid offer. As mentioned above, if you are a contender, hold.

My roster (Starters)

Wilson, Dalton
Mixon, Aron Jones, Derrick Henry, McGuire
Adams, Amari, 1.02 (DK Metcalf mabye)
Kelce

I think that I will make the PO and of course anything can happen, but I don't think that I am the favourite.

A couple of teams in our dynasty league are pretty strong.
One have:
Luck
Barkley, Chubb, Michel, Davonte Freeman
OBJ, Evans, M Thomas, Julio, A-Rob
Njuko, Gronk

The other.
Pat Mahomes
Zeke, Gurley, Kerryon Johnson
Hopkins, Thielen, Boyd
Burton, Graham

Taking my roster in to consideration and the two strongest teams, should I then make the trade??

I'm assuming it's a 10 team league based on your rosters and others you mentioned. I'd take the trade if I were you.

If you accept the trade, try to work out a deal with Penny owner. You get Penny or send Carson his way. I have no idea how that is going to shake out but I think Penny might be the guy next year and beyond. Carson will need to find a job somewhere else...

It is actually a 12 team league.

Switch out the 2.06/3.08/Carson for a better RB than Carson and I'd consider it.

I feel like you have to take the picks here... Wish it wasn't Carson though and the 2md and 3rd do nothing for me either

I would do that, and I'm not even that high on Diggs compared to the consensus.

I don't know your WR situation but I would not do that with your RB's and I probably wouldn't do it regardless either. Mixon has top 5 upside and is younger than Diggs by3 years.

The 2020 picks have to be involved if you're giving up Mixon. They will be necessary to replace him. The original offer isn't bad, as the mid 1st will add another potential impact player. Mixon is such a talent, but his situation is rough as far as the offense goes, so I could see wanting to reset. If you do choose to accept it, you may want to shop a few other pieces (like Kelce and Wilson) for 2020 picks and do a rebuild around Adams and maybe Amari.
