Truthfully I had a hard time finding a landing spot for AJ Brown. I’m not sure how many teams are gonna pay up for a non-explosive, slot-only WR.

I do figure tho, that if any team can always find room on the field for a solid player, it’s KC. And Brown certainly is solid (I just don’t think he’s any sort of special prospect, which is what he was billed as going into the 2018 season).

While I think the Chiefs will draft a RB in the first three rounds, it would really surprise me to see them NOT go defense with their first two picks. What led to this thinking?

I wouldn't be shocked if the Jags trade up and grab whichever QB they think is best. Even with a (probably) weak class teams are still gonna fight for the top guys.

If Vikings take anything other than an O lineman with their #18 pick I may just give up on them

This mock aside, I really hope the Jets don't reach on an OL that isn't even projected as a great LT prospect at #3. I support getting OL, and while Jonah is though of as a 1st round prospect, I don't think he's worth #3 as a RT or OG. He isn't Nelson.

Best case scenario i feel like is Josh Allen, or perhaps another DL prospect depending on what our new coach brings in terms of defensive philosophy. Something to bring us a pass rush. Having the opportunity to trade down and gain some assets after they gave up three 2nds in the move up to acquire Darnold last year would obviously be ideal, but most people say they want their team to trade down. Scenarios do exist where it will be possible at that spot in the draft and some of the top end talent pass rushers and even potential urgency for QB (rightly or wrongly). The team has so many holes, but like so many others, lets see what the landscape is after Free Agency. It can't be understated how much the landscape will still change in the coming months.

I certainly might be but the NFL really seems to like him. If he declares, I think he’s a top 3 WR in the draft.

It just seemed like BPA at that point, and I didn’t love the defensive options on the board in the late 2nd.

I really dislike Montgomery, but yeah, if he went to KC he's the likely 1.01...
