He’s going to get a lengthy suspension that will only start once a team signs him. So a team will have to sign him knowing he will sit at least 6 games maybe more and deal with bad pr. Sorry, I don’t see a second chance for him this day and age.

Yep, but Mixon and Hill did it in college, so it's OK that teams draft them? Not saying you, just referencing your comment, but this double standard doesn't make much sense to me.

Personally, I wish the NFL did not draft or employ these types of players at all. But, the Bengals and Chiefs will probably say "Well, they did that in college and were already punished." It's such an easy thing to avoid. It ruins the perception of your league.

Agree Ware and Damien aren't studs, but capable running backs in this offense will be productive. It's the tide that raises all boats.

As for Darrel, I'm always a bit skeptical of guys that look good playing against the future gym teachers of America in the preseason though.

This is sensationalized video....TMZ titles it "brutalized woman" is absurd. Hunt shoved a MAN who in turned knocked over the girl. The "kick" was more of a shove. Not defending ever putting hands on a woman but saying she was brutalized or putting this in the same category of ray rice or Joe Mixon is ridiculous. It's not like this woman was cowering in fear, she kept getting in hunt's face and almost looks like she was egging him on.

I agree that's pretty bad. Ware is a plodder though, Williams had a decent combine outside 40 time. I just think he is an interesting free stash, especially in leagues where you can't make playoff moves easily with large rosters.

Key thing to remember in the Rice/Mixon videos: Nobody was restraining them. Imagine how different this video is if it's just Hunt and the girl. Based on Hunt's actions, it could've emulated the Rice video. It doesn't matter that she was egging him on or if she was using racial slurs. You can't put your hands on her.

If you're a professional athlete, you have to know when to walk away.

I think this move ends up saving the careers of a lot of young men going forward. If this doesn’t grab your attention of how quickly it can all be taken away then nothing will. Nothing good happens after midnight.
