This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Thoughts on this (accepted) offer:

Postby jordanzs » Wed Nov 28, 2018 5:49 pm

12 team PPR

Team A is competing and a favorite to win the championship. He received Conner, Ebron, Rod Smith

Team B is out this year and semi-rebuilding. He received Dalvin, Kupp, Burton, 2019 2nd (probably the 2.12)

Just curious to hear ya'll's thoughts on the trade.

Love the trade for team B. This is pretty much an ideal trade for both sides based on present and future.

Good trade for both sides, B could win easily in a few years if Dalvin bounces back and Conner regresses back to what most people thought he was, but it suits both sides needs perfectly as of today.

Seems fair to me. Conner is the best piece, but Dalvin and Kupp are nice pieces to have for a semi rebuilding team.

I'm leaning towards the Cook side, but seems like both sides did well.

Is Okay. Dalvin cant stay healthy at all, so don't like that side. Connor is a bonafide top tier RB at this point. Very Very hard to come by and are difference makers. You build around that. I like Connor.
QB: Mayfield, Bridgewater, Fitzpatrick
RB:David Johnson, Mixon, Chubb, James Robinson, Mattison, K Vaughn
WR: AJG, K Allen, D Adams, JuJu, C Godwin, D Slayton, S Miller
TE: Engram, Kittle
K: Succup
Def.: Arizona

Champions 2006 and 2018. Second a few times in between, again in 2019.

No PPR. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (RB,WR,TE) 1K 1 1 Def
Drop 7 ea yr. 20 player roster with up to 2 IR

I like the B side in a vacuum, but both sides make sense for their situations.

It's a slight overpay for Conner + Ebron, but 100% worth it if it pushes that team over the top for a title.

Could look bad right now but next season I wouldn't be surprised if Cook was close to Conner and Kupp was way ahead of Ebron. Extra Burton and 2nd to compete and it's a good deal for both

Team B wins this one in my opinion. However Team A, going for the ship, makes sense for them as well! Good trade for both parties.
