QB - Alex Smith, Tyrod Taylor, Josh McCown
RB - Todd Gurley, Derrius Guice, Isaiah Crowell, Samaje Perine, Demarco Murray, Frank Gore
WR - Brandin Cooks, Amari Cooper, Cooper Kupp, Will Fuller, Nelson Agholor, Terrelle Pryor
TE - OJ Howard, Cameron Brate, Tyler Kroft
TD - Tennessee, Atlanta

Thoughts on my team:

Positive - WR corp is solid mix of upside and safe floor.

Negative - Loss of Guice & Murray means my RB depth is lacking. Had to use 3 TE by necessity by pairing Howard & Brate. Not sure why I took McCown in Rd 20 instead of 3rd TE - maybe because of Taylor concerns. No proven WR1 and only Gurley as RB1.

Not optimistic this team can finish top 3
As predicted - my team due to the off-season losses at RB would have an uphill struggle. McCown and Taylor being relegated to backup status means I only have Alex Smith to rely on for QB points and he has had 1 game over 20 points. Gurley & Crowell make a nice 1-2 RB punch but both have bye weeks upcoming and my depth consists solely of Frank Gore. Coopers back-2-back bye weeks and Kupp & Fuller injuries have depleted my WR depth.

In the end the lack of RB depth, the losses at QBs, injuries at WR, and the weaknesses at TE & TD meant this team is lucky to be 7th as it is.

QB - Marcus Mariota, Alex Smith, Blake Bortles
RB - Derrius Guice, Nick Chubb, Isaiah Crowell, Samaje Perine
WR - Odell Beckham, Mike Evans, Amari Cooper, Cooper Kupp, Paul Richardson, Josh Doctson, Donte Moncrief
TE - Austin Sefarian-Jenkins, Austin Hooper, Adam Shaheen
TD - Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Tennessee

Thoughts on my team:

Positive - WR is dominant, but it has to be to cover the weakness at RB

Negative - RB is screwed unless Crowell can be at least a high RB2, never go so bare at RB this early in process. Should have used at least one of the 3 spots on TE/QB on RB instead.

Boom / Bust Zero RB strategy that was badly executed.
Once again spot on - Zero RB strategy was flawed due to lack of RB choices once Guice went down. None of the QBs are QBs you want to start right now - but only use as backups and the Falcons D has deteriorated severely since 2016. Injuries at TE make it Hooper or Bust and weeks he is quiet I'll get little production. Neither Redskins WR has grabbed command of the target share as Reed has remained suprisingly healthy lol. Might be able to climb or spot or 2 but - 11th seems about right.

RB - Marshawn Lynch, Giovani Bernard, Doug Martin, TJ Yeldon, Peyton Barber, Kalen Ballage
WR - Antonio Brown, Mike Evans, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Sammy Watkins, Josh Doctson, Christian Kirk, James Washington
TE - Travis Kelce, Jack Doyle
TD - Cincinnati, Atlanta, Oakland

Positives - 2 Potential QB1s, Loaded at WR, Good TE, Pittsburgh WR stack could mean I'll have a WR1 any week.

Negatives - Wasted a pick on Homer D. Should have waited longer on 2nd TE

One of my favorite drafts, how a "zero RB" draft can be executed successfully (Lynch Rd 7, Gio Rd 10 only RBs in 1st 10) with a little luck
Still pleased with the draft execution but the losses of Lynch (ergo why Martin was drafted) and Gio and zilch from Ballage have made it very luck dependant going forward. Barber holding onto the starting role has been a blessing! The fact that I am less than 100 points from 1st is impressive. Doyles return from injury could help cover some of the RB deficiencies but this team may only go as far as the WRs & health going forward can take it. Hopeful to finish top 3 but really need to finish top 2 for rewards. ;)

QB - Andrew Luck, Jameis Winston, Ryan Tannehill
RB - Carlos Hyde, Nick Chubb, Isaiah Crowell, Peyton Barber, TJ Yeldon, Doug Martin
WR - Odell Beckham, Mike Evans, Amari Cooper, Brandin Cooks, Jordy Nelson, Keelan Cole
TE - Eric Ebron, Jared Cook, Nick Vannett, Tyler Kroft
TD - Atlanta

Positives - Once again loaded at WR, and have a couple of WR that could outproduce their ADP

Negatives - plenty of Question marks at RB, TE and QB, not to mention only 1 TD. In my defense I forgot which round it was and took a 4th TE I did not really need - lesson being stay focused.

I had not planned to take 3 QB, but figured if Luck got injured before (and who knows with Indy O-Line) Winston got back, my season could be over before it started. If all the pieces come together this could be fun to watch - but dont expect miracles.
Good thing I took 3 QB - but even that is not going to be enough in Week IX with Winston benched and Tannehill with a mysterious injury. I do not expect to gain ground this week but rather to lose it. Ebron & Cook at TE have been great (until Cooks performance when needed this week haha). Vannett, Kroft, Nelson and Cole have unfortunately been wastes of picks for the most part and should have taken a 2nd TD instead of one of them. Regardless pretty optimistic I can finish top 3. :)

This was a private MFL10 I created - recruited owners from DLF and my dynasty leagues to fill. I'll post the other teams later on.

QB - Alex Smith, Jameis Winston
RB - Le'Veon Bell, Carlos Hyde, Nick Chubb, Duke Johnson, Marshawn Lynch, Bilal Powell, James Conner
WR - Amari Cooper, Randall Cobb, Kelvin Benjamin, Chris Godwin, John Ross, Dante Pettis
TE - Travis Kelce, Kyle Rudolph
TD - Seattle, Kansas City, NY Giants

Positives - Well Balanced at most positions except WR, didnt have to spend a lot of draft capital on QB and got Bell insurance at a late round pick

Negatives - I do not have a single WR with a safe history of production (except Cooper?) - maybe instead of owning the entire Cleveland backfield I should have added another WR! Especially since I spent a fair amount to lock it up haha.

This was one of my favorite slow drafts - always nice to compete against people you know rather than anonymous MFL10 drafters. Due to draft position and / or how draft plays out, I usually am not in a position to draft RB heavy and try a WR Zero strategy, but this time I was able to and lets see how it plays out. If Cooper can be elite, dividends could be enormous.
This is a nice example of even when things can go right in a draft they can still go wrong in-season. After all I covered the Bell risk by taking Conner - but the WR production has been very lacking, and the combo of Winston & Smith has been even less helpful than worst case scenario expected.

In the end there is nothing wrong with a ZERO QB or ZERO WR strategy - so long as you make the right selections and at least with QBs that was not the case. When you combine the weaknesses at that position(s) with the RB injuries and turmoil you get a team struggling to get out of the cellar *shrugs*. Hopefully I can climb up a few rungs and save the 'shame' of a last place finish.

QB - Cam Newton, Blake Bortles, Ryan Tannehill
RB - Joe Mixon, Carlos Hyde, Nick Chubb, Duke Johnson, Giovani Bernard, James Conner
WR - Deandre Hopkins, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kelvin Benjamin, Keelan Cole, Chris Godwin, Christian Kirk
TE - Travis Kelce, Kyle Rudolph
TD - Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Cincinnati

Positives - Solid at all positions, Conner could potentially be a steal.

Negatives - if Cleveland or Cincinnati offences struggle too much this season, this team will be in trouble. Could have gone with more RB depth instead of 3rd QB.

Not quite sure how this will play out - but like the balance between having a "stud" at each position with plenty of upside options.
Well apparently it has played out really well. Newton remains a solid enough QB1 that I can afford Bortles/Tannehill as my backups. The trades have actually benefited my RBs as now Hyde & Chubb both get shots to be RB2s and Conner was a late round steal. About the only bad decision was Benjamin (although Cole a disappointment as previously noted). I'd never been high on KB and I let myself talk myself into taking a guy who was the de facto choice on a weak team. Would have been better served to go after a #2 or #3 on a strong team. However having had 3 starting QBs this season alone is not helping him. Some signs of positivity these past few weeks.

Anyways this is going to be a fun team to watch down the stretch and lets see if I can hold onto 1st, or at least finish top 3.

QB - Cam Newton, Jameis Winston, Derek Carr
RB - Joe Mixon, Carlos Hyde, Nick Chubb, CJ Anderson, Corey Clement, TJ Yeldon, James Conner
WR- Antonio Brown, Marvin Jones, Devin Funchess, Jordy Nelson, Christian Kirk
TE - Travis Kelce, Mike Gesicki
TD - Houston, Carolina, Miami

Positives - Potential for strong production at each position

Negatives - RBs could be dicy, no proven backup TE, probably didnt need 3rd QB, so should have taken just Carr and avoided Winston.

MFL10 lives are a little different beast than the slow drafts - firstly you have that feeling of being sniped getting intensified and 2ndly you have to have more focus or a strong draft plan going in, than you do with a 4/8 H draft where you can take a few min to think out how you see the next couple of rounds playing out.

Finding myself, when time is running out, going after the familiar players, for better or worse.
Well it turns out to be for better more than for worse - IE trusting your gut when making picks in limited time did not hurt. That and 5 shares of Conner through my 10 MFL10s. ;) Was correct in suggestion to avoid 3rd QB and add to TE depth - but Gesicki has been decent for a rookie TE and Kelce has carried me there as expected. If Jones can benefit from Tate trade I could even see a slight uptick in production going forward, and a 50 point (over 2nd) and 120 point (over 4th) cushions have me feeling optimistic over end result.

WR - Odell Beckham, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Jarvis Landry, Devin Funchess, Sammy Watkins, Kelvin Benjamin
TE - Eric Ebron, Nick Vannett

TD - Kansas City, Tampa Bay, San Francisco

Positives - Happy with my strength at RB & WR, Should be able to get decent results from QBs

Negatives - Very light at TE

I had not planned to go Zero QB or TE but that was the way the draft played out - especially as RBs went fast and furious, especially in the first 5 rounds
I am not sure anyone can catch the 1st place team so the goal here is to hold onto ground already earned (ie finish 2nd or 3rd). Ebrons bye week this week means no likely production at TE and once again this was a situation where I should have stuck with 2 QBs and bolstered TE - Tannehill & Winston have quickly gone from trendy high QB2 plays to roster cloggers. Thankfully Winston got benched AFTER Carrs bye week ...

Maybe Fournettes hopeful return will balance loss of Lynch and Gio - but my WR depth (even with KB selection) is strong enough to cover while Conner & Chubb remain starters.
