Funny enough I just turned down an offer that was basically a future 2nd for Landry.

Past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior. So if we're looking forward and making predictions, history tells us Landry will continue to be good.

I am not so sure Tyrod is any worse than Tannehill, Cutler or Moore though.

We can all guess and try to predict how he is going to be in Cleveland, but none of us know.

My issue with people downgrading Landry in Cleveland is that they're doing it solely based on their opinion that he's target dependent. That may have been the case somewhat in Miami, but that's because they didn't have a QB that was willing to throw the ball past 5 yards down the field and the coaches were drawing up those short passes. While I expect Landry's targets to decrease, I also expect his efficiency to go up and his YAC (something everyone loves to point out) to increase.

And like Phaded mentioned, not sure why Tyrod is a downgrade from Tannehill or Cutler.

So - it is obviously very early into the year, but three weeks in he currently has an average per catch of 13.9; a whopping 5+ more yards per catch than last year in Miami. He is consistently being used down the field.

Things should only get better with Baker soon to be running the show as well.

I don't agree that it's a 4 year sample size. Every year saw Landry have an increased ypr except last season when Tannehill was hurt and they had garbage at QB. I fully expect 12-13 ypr as a lock as a minimum for this year.

Nope, Miami had him run super shallow route all day every day because he clearly lacks the ability to do the exact same thing but 5 yards further down field. Obviously these 3 games are outliers, Landry has a low ypr because he physically can't make a cut or catch more than 5 yards down field. Yards Per Reception wasn't the focus, since that includes YAC. It was Yards at the Catch, which Landry has usually ranked low in for four seasons. I'm not sure what the number is this year, but I'd assume it's higher so far. That's encouraging. I'm happy to be wrong about it though.
