I'm not sure how to take that. Green looked the part right up until concussions and other injuries derailed his career. Are you forecasting a major injury derailing Smith or...?

I see it more as talented backup tight end stuck behind an established and productive veteran who people will roster for years under the premise of upside without production waiting for them to become "the guy"

If Walker's injury is as bad as it sounds, we may get to see how good {or not} Smith is sooner than expected

Sad about Delanie but excited to see what Jonnu can do with the opportunity. I've been a Jonnu truther since day one.

Also looking forward to seeing Jonnu play. Drafted him last year and have been holding. I am worried about the offense though. Hopefully they wake up and start playing better all around.

I'm excited about Smith's opportunity, but he's still a 2nd-year guy from a small school playing on a really bad looking offense. I think his expectations this year should be well below Walker-like production.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

Oh yeah for sure I'm keeping expectations low. I'm mostly just wanting to see that the coaching staff believes in him by increasing his snap share and overall role in the offense. Would also be nice if he didn't totally suck
