Adams or Edelman??
I know Edelman is Susp. for the first 4 games and I have both Adams and Edelman in my lineup, but I want to know who you think is more valuable and who you think I should keep.
Re: Adams or Edelman??
You're talking about Davante Adams? You should keep Adams and it's not remotely close.

Re: Adams or Edelman??
why do you say it isn't remotely close?
Re: Adams or Edelman??
Because this is dynasty.
Adams is 25, Edelman is 32.
Adams is a top dynasty WR. Edelman is at the end of his career.
That's really all that needs to be said.

Re: Adams or Edelman??
Thank you for your advice and although I am not disagreeing with your point I do think Edelman is a bit more productive as far as getting more receptions and yards I know Adams gets more touchdowns....but Edelman gets more catches and more yards. I guess my point being is Adams has yet to break the 1000 yard mark. Although he was only 3 yards short last year or the year before but you get my point. but thanks again.

Edelman easily has 2 years left of high end production, where Adams.....sheesh where do I begin
Not linked to a good QB, probably 4-6 years of meh production, TD side is capped around 10, and maybe at best 1100 yards..
who needs that...

If you let Adams go, you'll remember this as your "Oh, bleep, Dynasty isn't the same as Fantasy" moment. We've all done that.

Re: Adams or Edelman??
Adams is ranked 15 overall across all positions, and Edelman is ranked 138. Value is important in improving your team over the long haul.
Edelman has value for redrafts and teams pushing for a championship now.

Re: Adams or Edelman??
Your point is well taken...but I'm not trying to trade them I'm just trying to figure out of those 2 guys, which one I should have as a keeper on my rooster. In my league u only get to keep 3 people and also it favors the backs because they get 1 point for every 4 yards and the receivers get 2 points per catch and 1 point for every 10 yards they gain. My only other options are Roethlisberger who I'm trying to trade ;with 4 first round picks; to get Johnson. Or I have Ertz, or Cohen ;who is not a 3 down back;.
Re: Adams or Edelman??
Yes but this is Dynasty. Adam's is 8 years Edelman's junior and just became the de facto #1 with Jordy leaving and still managed to put up great numbers with garbage Brett Hundley under center for most of last year. Edelman is suspended and at most has two quality years left if he manages to stay healthy.nonamedefense wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 11:26 am Thank you for your advice and although I am not disagreeing with your point I do think Edelman is a bit more productive as far as getting more receptions and yards I know Adams gets more touchdowns....but Edelman gets more catches and more yards. Re: Adams or Edelman??
The 1,000 yard mark is such a dumb number to label as a end all be all stat for WR's....everyone wants to shout that Evans had 4 1,000 yard season when 2 of those were 1,001 and 1,051....Adams last season had 885 in 13.5 games and 997 last year with a TERRIBLE Qb but still had 12 and 10 TDs the past two years instead of 12 and 5 for Evans....Just food for thought.nonamedefense wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 11:26 am Thank you for your advice and although I am not disagreeing with your point I do think Edelman is a bit more productive as far as getting more receptions and yards I know Adams gets more touchdowns....but Edelman gets more catches and more yards. Also Edelmans points per game in 2016 was 14.4, adams was 15.9 from last year. Adams adp in redraft is a second round whereas edelmans is probably in the 7th or 8th.....these two games arent even in the same league for any argument.
