I like Pettis as a prospect I just don't know how many targets he's gonna get in that offense with Goodwin, Garcon, McKinnon, Taylor and Kittle taking touches

Should be a weapon on punt returns

Yeah they took him in the 2nd though, so they obviously have a plan for him plus...Shanahan. And he has added value as an elite return man

Yeah, i don't think you take him that high without a plan. Plus none of those guys you mentioned are exactly elite.

I hope you're right, I was a little surprised we took him given how well Taylor played in the slot, I'm not sure that Pettis can play outside but we'll see

Boom or bust pick with Ballage... not really even sure what I think about him but seemed like the best choice, particularly given my glaring need at RB.

rolling the dice with 2 more WRS. Not particulary excited by either, but it's getting pretty thin here.

2.16 will likely be available.

Send me offers or PM if interested.

Looking for future pick(s)

Decided to roll the dice on Callaway. Probably the most talented player on the board but he has off the field concerns and a crowded situation.

The guy's obviously been a mess but he's talented... But what are the odds he'll be more than the 3rd option behind Gordon and Landry? I'd have considered him at 3.03.

Agreed his ceiling is currently limited but what player at this point in the draft doesn’t have a questionable situation or limited talent?

His real value, assuming he can stay out of trouble, may come as a return guy.

Now that you mention it, I think I did hear once that they were gonna try him as a returner... but I had forgotten.

Oh, there's no question about that... I wasn't saying it was a bad pick by any means. This late in the draft, I'm swinging for the fences, man. I don't really want the high-floor, "safe" pick who is never gonna be more than a bye week or injury fill-in... Those dudes are easy to find. I'll take my chances on the guy who could be a game-wrecking freak, or a complete waste of a pick.

I briefly considered Callaway at 2.10 honestly. But I have a glut of WRs and I really needed a RB. Plus I already have Gordon (not that he's super-reliable).

Man... holy smokes. Just for fun, I was looking back at some previous drafts. Look at the first round of the 2009 draft from this league... that is a whole lot of SUCK.

Knowshon Moreno
Chris Wells
Michael Crabtree
Donald Brown
Shonn Greene
LeSean McCoy
Jeremy Maclin
Percy Harvin
Hakeem Nicks
Darius Heyward-Bey
Rashad Jennings
Matthew Stafford
Mark Sanchez
Brian Robiskie
James Davis
Kenny Britt
