Rojo's value?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Rojo's value?

Postby migouch99 » Fri May 18, 2018 4:04 am

I really like the potential for Rojo in Tampa - the owner wants my two 2019 firsts. He's 20 and looking like he could get a really good shot. Think this is worth it? (12 team .5ppr - team in sig)

Disclaimer: I really struggle to put a valuation on such guys (my first dynasty year)

You need a TE more than another RB. (maybe I'm lower on Jimmy here than others)
Plus, why give up 2 shots at a starter next year for a RB that hasn't yet proven he can produce in the NFL.

You've got the #1 and #2 Dynasty RB's and probably the #6 rb in Cook (many will debate that but he's at the minimal a top 10) you don't need to trade away 2 1sts for an unproven RB that will probably ride your bench all year long. I think you should stash those 1sts because next year is supposedly stacked at WR and while you've got some nice pieces at WR you aren't nearly as strong at the position. As for you TE I think Kittle is going to be a stud in a couple of years and I think Jimmy can get you through the next 2 years so you're fine there but I'd definitely consider upgrading through the rookie draft when you find a stud you believe in.

Rojo is not nearly what you think he is. He is their 3 rd down back. Too small to be a feature back. Same weight as Abdullah but 4 inches taller. Easy easy easy pass for me.

I'm not very high on Rojo, so I'd rather have the two 1sts, but it's probably fair value considering people are taking him early/mid 1st right now. With that said, RB is the last thing you need to worry about right now. I'd use those picks on a WR right now, because after your top 3, it gets a little murky.
