Should this be Vetoed?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

You can't veto trades just because someone makes bad trades. Vetoes are used for collusion. It's his team and he can make trades as he sees fit

Assuming you and maybe others in the league have already tried educating these bad owners and they're still making poor decisions, not much you can do about it. If you haven't already, do so and hope they wise up.

I guess I should have been more specific... Also, I play in a league where we all know and trust each other.

The rule would be one where you have like 75% of the league that would have to vote against the trade, and also, the commish can overrule, so even if you had that many teams get together and collude with each other, the commish can step in. I guess I can see where everyone is coming from if you are in a league with a bunch of people you don't know, and you don't know the commish.

My league was once owner vote and we got rid of it for all the reasons people are saying. Everything goes through the commish committee now and the only trade we've stopped is when one owner was newly on pain meds, went into self destruct mode and was talking about leaving the league so started trading with zero concern for his teams welfare. Luckily, he came around and understood why we stopped him. Otherwise, trades are always bad in someones eyes, but fantastic in someone elses. If it doesn't throw the balance of the league out of whack, owners all have a right to make trades that they feel are in their best interest.

No vetoes...just no. Yes, value is on the side of the 1.04, but what if Dez goes to SF and puts up a top-5 WR season, and Brate gets hurt and Howard outscores Gronk? You don't know the future.

can only be a veto if its clear collusion. Clearly that is not.

simple answer: No

long answer: No trades should be vetoed unless collusion is proven (common theme among this topic). That said, I would not play in a league where a veto vote is allowed.
