Chris Thompson is the locked in 3rd down RB here. I would still bump him down a little bit in PPR leagues. He wont see much more than 1st and 2nd down work for the first 2 years while Chris Thompson is still around.

Chris Thompson is not able to stay healthy, he just isn’t, love this spot for Guice.

Reports coming out that he was high maintenance and there were some off the field stuff that wasn’t reported at LSU, there has to be a reason he dropped so far. Personally, I have the 1.02 in one league and I don’t know if I’ll take him, I’ve got some time to think about it.

A simple google search nets what seems to be the reason. He flunked the interviews apparently. Some teams had red flags on some off the field things, pointing to some immaturity he might have. No idea what, he seems pretty safe. If he ran angry before, sitting in that green room like that might add a little extra motivation for him.

Also, Guice supposedly had some off the field stuff at LSU, people can say draft for talent but it’s got me pausing some in the one league that I have the 1.02.

Even with all these “red flags” Guice is still the 1.02 without a doubt. He still went in the 2nd round, still runs like an animal and that offense is gonna feed him simple as that. Thompson is a perfect compliment giving him some fresh air, most likely will miss a few games and Guice will show his receiving skills (yes he can catch.)

If everyone was so high on LF why not be as high on Guice? Not only did he look better on the field than LF but he also had better stats and they both have “injury” concerns (which I don’t think are anything to serious, it’s just how they run... it’s bound to happen every once in a while)

Other than RoJo I really don’t think anyone is close to Guice

This pick reminds me of when the Redskins selected Sean Taylor, someone to change the feeling and bring a different mentality to the game. I think Guice will do that exact thing for this offense.

If you have the 1.02 like me, the first round results were not encouraging if you had your eye on Guice.

Never considered Michel or Penny at 1.02 but the million dollar question is... do I have to now?

Still need to see where the rest of these non-Barkley bums (hehe) go, but regardless... hard to see Guice as a slam dunk 1.02 anymore.

If you're desperate for help at RB (and those are good odds at 1.02), the 1.02 isn't as exciting as it was 24 hours ago.

How could anyone justify Guice at 1.02 now? That's crazy talk.

I'm sitting at 1.07 and I doubt Guice is in my top 7. In fact he is not.

I am absolutely shocked that anyone would consider Guice at 1.02. Shocked!

There is no reason to hold onto pre draft rankings other than ego.

How does Guice land in top 7? I'm pretty confident I'll see "expert" rankings with Guice outside top 7. That's all positions, not just RB.
