I hope this weed incident causes his owners to sell in my leagues where I don't own him, because I'll be buying! Too much talent to ignore.

Foster is a good kid. Weed is legal in California where he plays, but he made a stupid mistake getting caught at home with it. Hopefully he learns a lesson from this and quite frankly he should just quit it altogether while the NFL's draconian weed ban is in place but let's be honest, a large majority of the NFL smokes, they just don't get caught with it and don't smoke it before they get their annual drug test in the spring.

As a fan and a fantasy owner, my bigger concern is Foster's durability right now. Seems to get nicked up a ton. As a fan I also wish we'd have kept Bowman instead of releasing him and eating his entire salary for nothing, we could sure use him during the first month of the season when Foster is inevitably suspended now.

He's on track to be in jail before the start of season. Feeling better that I missed getting him in all my leagues.

glad i turned down a couple of offers for him last month at this point. If he doesn't smarten up soon, he maybe one and done... I'd expect him gone for the first 6 at this point

What a shame, Guy is a treat to watch on the field. Looking like a classic case of all world ability with ten cent head.

More of the story coming out, not sure if it's getting better or worse, now reports indicate he was "dragging girlfriend".
I see a few on player discussion making excuses for this and other issues (like Hunt) but not sure how much an excuse really exists. At that age, had lots of women that started crap at bar, school, work, whatever...never punched, smacked, dragged any of them.

No matter what percentage of truth is contained in the most recent allegations, there is a definite pattern emerging. He might get another chance after this, but I'm not counting on it. That being said, if this turns out to not be anything too crazy and he does straighten up and fly right, he may never be cheaper to acquire.

Ray Rice (for the felony), Joe Mixon (for the exact measurement) and Vontaze Burfict (as a headcase LB) in one person.

Happy i didn't draft him like Kuechly years ago in 1st round.

Hard for me to draft any linebacker in the 1st but I got stuck with a couple shares in the mid 2nd.

I picked him up on the WW..thinking about dropping now. Is anyone else ready to drop?
Too many teams and lineup changes to keep track of them all.

If this somehow blows over and he plays this upcoming season, you'll regret having dropped him. Assuming you don't need to clear roster space right now, I'd hold until it's 100% clear that he's done (which I do expect to happen).

One of my favorite prospects (on field) coming out in a long time, I loved Foster. Amazing how these guys can throw it all away.

I wouldn’t drop him yet, but it’s likely coming. When the 49ers cut bait it will become obvious. Will be tough for a team to pick him back up at that point, as the 49ers are waiting until they have the evidence needed to make the official call.
