Except Edelman is built a LOT better than Austin for that role. Straight line he's slower than Austin but he's more agile, 3" taller and 20-25lbs heavier. Austin really needs to be moved all over the field at his size, I think he'd get destroyed playing purely in the slot. However, if he can consistently get 8-10 touches/game rushing and receiving He's someone I'll possibly buy in-season before he becomes a FA.
