It's a different age with the NYG. If he goes there, and I'm thinking he will, I don't think it'd be a bad thing...short or long term.

I actually think that any of the landing spots Saquon is projected to will be just fine for him. NYG will be fine. Colts will be fine. Even the Browns look like they have their stuff together and would be a great spot for him. I think he'll be successful wherever he goes.

Eli, Peyton, Aikman, Elway = 9 SB RINGS
Sanders, AP, LT, Dickerson = 0 SB RINGS
Faulk and Payton 1 each.

QBs build dynasty’s. I LOVE Rbs but you don’t build consistent winning franchises around them.

IDK what the Browns or Giants do but both need franchise QBs for future. When you are picking top 5 need QB and potential franchise QBs available you go.

Colts at 3 Barkley. Their #1 priority help and protect Luck.

But here is twist.... Colts go QB. Luck career in jeopardy???
DONKEY PUNCHERS....12 teams start 1qb, 1rb, 2wr, 1flex rb/wr/te, te, k, d/sp, 0.5ppr, all tds 6pts, 0.1pt run/rec yd, .033pt pass yd, .04 return yd all return tds 6pts, 20 player roster, 1 IR Spot, 2pt bonus all tds over 50yds...
QBs Luck, Mayfield
RBs McCaffery, Kerryon, Drake, Breida, Gio
WRs C. Davis, T Boyd, D Hamilton, Kupp, Westbrook, MVS, Callaway

I agree. The Browns should draft a QB at #1 and have their pick of the QB's.

I think Saquon is amazing! But, QB's are king in the NFL and if the Browns want to make the right long term choice they will choose the QB of their future at #1 this April.

Put it in the books .
As a Colts fan I would like to see this, but I also don’t think it is as big of a lock as one might think. If the Browns go QB at 1 and the Giants don’t go QB at two, doesn’t that mean that the Colts are sitting in a palace to make a fortune by trading back? The Colts are more than one player away from being competitive and they need more picks... like mentioned elsewhere, wouldn’t a trade back with the Bills for their 2 1sts and more make sense?
Not exactly, but still nailed the trade back. Per NFL.com:

It appears the New York Jets are officially hunting for a quarterback in 2018 NFL Draft.

The team announced Saturday it has acquired the No. 3 overall pick of the draft in a trade with the Indianapolis Colts. The Jets are sending their No. 6, 37th and 49th overall selections in this year's draft and their second-rounder in 2019 to Indianapolis.

I think Barkley is talented enough to be a fantasy RB1 on nearly any NFL team, so it kinda doesn't matter where he falls. Of course, to maximize his potential he'll need to somehow find himself on a truly talented team, and as an RB with limited shelf-life you hope that happens for him sooner rather than later. But I think you just gotta be zen about that.

Look, Gurley was in purgatory in '16 in a god awful situation, only to remind us of his talent in '17 (and all it took was basically just a new head-coach), helping a lot of fantasy owners win championships. Wherever Barkley goes, he'll probably be okay. So don't worry about it.

With the colts trade outside of the top 5 and broncos getting keenum.. why couldn't Barkley go to milehigh? I do think 3 qbs get taken in the first 3 picks and then the browns go chubb/fitz at 4.. then broncos at 5.. idk what they do.. paying a qb and then booker being your starter?? I think he lands their and the colts get nelson or chubb
