I did just read this from FantasyPros about Michel...intriguing:
“Michel is a player to watch at the combine. He may not light up the combine, but this guy on a football field is special. How special? He was recorded running 22.5 mph this past season at Georgia. In comparison, only one player in the NFL ran over 22 mph in 2017.”

I think Guice is firmly in that #2 spot and is closer to Barkley than he is the next tier down.

There are 1500+ players in the NFL. Granted half are linemen and other portly fellows, but that still gives 500-600 players that are quick guys. Only 14 got past 22 mph in 2016. That’s not a high percentage...maybe 2%-3%. Just saying Michel has elite speed.

A lot of those players ran 4.5x +, it doesn’t necessarily mean you have “elite speed”

^^At least you were pretty generous and did not mention someone like Johnny Holton.

Exceeding 22mph means literally nothing.

How often are these RBs going to have the opportunity to get to top speed?
Not often.

PFF has Guice ranked pretty low and Jones II pretty high. Why is this so different from the dynasty community?

I do not think PFF is an excellent source personally..

With that said.. How come the highest scores are not the highest ranked? Seems kind of flawed..

They put a lot of emphasise on yards after contact, and elusiveness rating (miss tackles forced). From what I saw Guice would push piles and get some decent yards after contact but when Rojo breaks an arm tackle then takes it 65 yards for a TD it counts for more

Those scores are grading their performance in 2017 and not looking at them ability-wise. The rankings are them projecting/looking forward.

How long until we hear about how Medical checks went with the RBs? Do you think we'll hear anything today about if Chubbs knee checks out good or bad?

When Ajayi got flagged for a bad knee at the medical evaluations I thought the media knew about it but I can't remember exactly.

That's a pretty dumb way to rank players...
QBs: Dak Prescott, Teddy Bridgewater, Taysom Hill, Jameis Winston, Jalen Hurts, Andy Dalton
RBS: CMC, Miles Sanders, Gurley, JK Dobbins, AJ Dillon, Lamical Perine, Ito Smith
WRS: Godwin, DJ Moore, Juju, Keenan Allen, Diggs, McLaurin, Dionte Johnson, Jalen Reagor, Bryan Edwards, Brandon Aiyuk, Tim Patrick
TEs: Mark Andrews, TJ Hockenson, Irv Smith
DEF:Miami

So I just offered my 1.06, 2.10, and 2019 1st for the 1.02 to have a better chance of hitting on an actual stud RB in Guice or Michel if he astounds the combine and gets a better landing spot

What do ya'll think? With my roster in team 1, is going from pick 6 to pick 2 worth a late 2nd and future 1st?

Probably have a few hours to pull it based off feedback. Team advice liked the trade, but I feel you guys here are more knowledgeable 1st round RBs by a good margin
Team 1- 10 team ppr, 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flx, 1D, 1K
2022: 1-8
Finishes: 6th, 6th, 1st, 5th, 6th, 9th
QB: Lamar Jackson, Purdy
RB: Bijan, Dobbins, Achane, Charbonnet, Algier, McBride, waiver trash
WR: JSN, QJ, Addison, Dotson, Skyy Moore, Jameson Williams, Hyatt, T Dell, Boutte, Skowronek, Quez Watkins, Greg Dortch, waiver trash
TE: Hockenson, F Monroe, Juwan, Musgrave
D/K: Patriots, Vikings, Saints, Dicker

picks-
2024- 1,1,1,1,2,2,2,3,3,4,5,5
2025 1,1,1,2,3,4,5

team 2- 12 team SF, .5PPR, .5TE boost, 1QB, 1SF, 2 RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flex
2022: 8-1
Finishes: 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd :wall:

I don’t think it’s a bad move. I’ve considered doing the same thing to move up from 1.6 to 1.3. The owner of 1.2 has no interest in moving down. I think I’ll wait until after the draft though. There are 6 RB’s I really like in this draft. So, if a WR gets drafted at 4 or 5, or the landing spots are solid for all 6 then I’m happy.

With that said though, I prefer the 1.3 far more than 1.4-1.6 in this draft due to my own tiers that I’ve placed upon the players.
