Duke for Ajayi straight up

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Duke for Ajayi straight up

Postby stoneghost28 » Mon Feb 19, 2018 11:59 am

Duke Johnson
for
Jay Ajayi

12 team PPR

Guy offered me Ajayi. I'd just try to flip Ajayi for something else more than likely.

I'd do it, if the Eagles don't resign Blount then Ajayi's value should go up a bit.

QB: D. Brees, M. Stafford.
RB: L. Bell, D. Cook, J. Conner, M. Sanders, A. Blue, J. Ajayi, A. Barnes.
WR: M. Thomas, A.J. Green, J. Jones, C. Godwin, Z. Jones, J. Reynolds, K. Kirkwood, J. Moore, J. Hurd, T. Benjamin.
TE: Z. Ertz, J. Smith, M. Andrews, D. Waller, J. Sternberger.
K: M. Badgley.
DB: L. Collins, J. Johnson, J. Tart, C. Geathers, M. Blair.

I would take that deal and hold Ajayi. If Ajayi is the feature back for the Eagles next year, I think he has solid potential.

I'd take Ajayi. I think Duke is probably the safer bet in PPR formats, but if they take a player like Barkley do they use Duke that much on third downs?? Maybe move him into the slot but that coaching staff seems too old school to think outside the box. IF Ajayi can dodge all the incoming RB talent he looks poised to have a strong 2018 season in that offense. If Philly drafts someone then things get muddy. I don't mind gambling so I would roll the dice Philly doesn't take a RB in the first 4-5 rounds of the draft.

Clement will have the same role as duke did this season at best I think. If browns draft barkley which I think is very possible duke could be almost useless. This is not even close for me

As an ajayi owner I can't sell at that price. Cleveland may draft a rb to boot.
