trade for OBJ

Postby BradysBunch » Tue Feb 13, 2018 6:10 pm

I sent a couple offers to a new league mate. He rejected one and kept the other open...as of now. I think I am overpaying, but with my team I think it is worth it. Maybe I am not overpaying...thoughts?

Give:
Enuwa
M. Williams
Winston
M Gordon
1.4
1.8

Get:
Wentz
OBJ
9(yes 9) team / 28 man rosters
15/17/19/21 Champ
SF/PPR
QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/WR/TE/flex/SF
Mahomes/TLAW/Fields
N. Harris/J. Williams/Gibbs/CEH/A. Jones/Hubbard/Haskins/Ingram
Kupp/Jefferson/Chase/Lamb/Hopkins/MT/Watson/Dotson/
Kelce/Hurst

It's OBJ & Wentz by a decent amount for me. I am not a believer in Melvin Gordon long term, Enunwa and Williams carry little value especially in a 10 team league, currently the picks are decent but wouldn't interest me enough to trade OBJ. Then on top of it all you want Wentz lol. You should be throwing something more valuable than Williams or Enunwa if you want one of the top dynasty assets in OBJ and then also one of the top dynasty qbs especially in a 10 team league.

OBJ side by a lot for me. Gordon is solid and the picks are ok but OBJ and Wentz are elite young talents.

That's not an overpay and I'm actually surprised it wasn't rejected.

Me too...

Basically MG+1.4 < OBJ and Winston+1.8 < Wentz

You can add the other guys anywhere and they make no difference.

QB: Mahomes, Burrow, Stafford,
RB: Mixon, Henry, zeke, Rochon
WR: Godwin, Olave, Deebo,DJM, Dell, MW, Doubs
TE: Kelce, Kmet, Musgrave

T.2 - 12 team Superflex- 1xQB - 2xRB - 3xWR - 1xTE - 1xSFlex - 1xWRT Flex (10th year)

RB: Saquon, Mixon, Rochon, Evans
WR: Pickens, QJ, Thielen, Arob, Juju, ODB, D. Parker, Osborn,
TE: Kincaid, Ertz, Freirmuth, Taysom, JWoods

T.3 - 12 team Superflex- 1xQB - 2xRB - 3xWR - 1xTE - 1xSFlex - 1xWRT Flex (3rd year) ‘21&’22 champ
QB: Mahomes, Burrow, Winston, Darnald
RB: JT, Javonte,Sanders, JCook, Jamaal
WR: Godwin, Waddle, ARSB, Pittman, MW, Jameson, Zay, Claypool, Toney, Terrance

Definitely the OBJ side. Plus you've got 1.1 according to your sig, so you've got Barkley incoming to bolster your RBs (unless you trade it for an elite RB).

Considering your RB depth, and the fact that you still have the 1.01, I would do that deal instantly. That's the exact kind of deal I would look for to try to move an asset like Gordon.
12 Team, 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1FLEX (ppr) 30 man
QB-Rivers, Smith
RB-Gurley, Kerryon, DFreeman, CJ Anderson, Burkhead, Ware, Jonathan Williams, Carson, Kelly

TE-Gronk, Engram, Hurst, Seals-Jones

12 Team--1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1FLEX (ppr) 30 man
QB-Big Ben, Dalton
RB-Freeman, Ingram, Hyde, Gallman, Richard
WR-Evans, Arob, Golladay, CDavis, Marv. Jones, Gordon, Meredith, Gabriel, Richardson, Reynolds, Watson
TE-Kelce, Burton, Butt,

Since it wasn't, perhaps there will be a counter? But I agree it's not an overpay, and if the negotiations continue he'll be back asking for more or different pieces.

I'd be willing to add more to get it done.

If you exchanged the 1.4 for 1.1 I'd still vote OBJ Wentz...
