Dude, what are you talking about, this thread began more than a week ago and is filled with tons of severely outdated info and input. We can't have that contaminate my beautiful discussion!

Seriously, I'm sorry for missing this thread, though in all fairness it somehow dropped to the 2nd page, despite being probably the 2nd or 3rd best thread on here. Definitely think they should be merged, and possibly give the Rookie RBs thread a run for its money as best thread on here.

How does this years class compare to last years? How would the top ten look if you mixed the two classes?

I don't get how James Washington is being overlooked soo badly. His measurables with the long arms and great and size coupled with his senior bowl standout status make him my 2nd ranked wr in this draft class. All he needs is a great combine shuttle and nice 40 and im sold on drafting him within the 5 easily

He is 5'10 and some don't believe he will test all that well

Saquon is the only rookie from this year that would be a top 5 pick. Guice maybe top 5-6 if he gets drafted in the 1st round.

I was more referencing just wr’s. I still think Davis is #1, but would Sutton, Washington or Ridley go over mike Williams?

I think Sutton and Davis are 1a, 1b, and Sutton is the only one that I like more than I liked Williams as a prospect.

lukkynumber13 wrote: Fri Jan 05, 2018 12:01 am So out of all these guys who could go early day 2, or maybe fall to late day 3, which of these WRs with attractive (on paper) sizes are for real?

Equanimeous St. Brown (6'4/205)
Simmie Cobbs (6'4/220)
Auden Tate (6'5/225)
Marcel Ateman (6'4/220)
DJ Chark (6'3/190)
Cedric Wilson (6'3/190)
Darren Carrington (6'2/195)
Allen Lazard (6'5/225)
Been soaking up a ton of film on these guys. Also watching Washington, Gallup, and DJ Moore.

ESB is for real. He's not just big, and he's not just big and fast - he's big, fast, quick, athletic, smooth, and seems to have good hands & body control. I'm confident putting him in the top 5, mixed in with Sutton, Washington, Ridley, and DJ Moore.

Chark is absolutely electric, I won't be shocked if he runs a sub 4.4 Forty, but he's still very raw. Worth a shot at the end of day 2, however!

I did not expect to like Cobbs so much, but he looks like could really be something. Not sure how he will test, but he's more than just a big body for sure. Potentially a 2nd Round NFL pick if he tests decently. Same goes for Ateman, for the most part.

Unfortunately Tate seems like just a big body with some athleticism. Not an NFL-level WR. Maybe he can get there, but he looks like a guy that will get drafted on day 3. Lazard same thing, except less athletic. I'm not holding my breath for either guy to be a starting WR in the League.

There's a boatload of size in this draft or maybe I just haven't paid attention much the last few years.

Auden Tate doesn't excite me, people love the 6'5 but he didn't produce at a big-time program and was overshadowed by Travis Rudolph last year...who was an UDFA.

Not sure I'm on the Ateman train either, older prospect and was 2nd fiddle to James Washington in both 2015 and 2017. Probably would have been the same in 2016 but he had a non-contact injury I believe and missed the season.

So my favorites may be ESB + Cobbs, don't know much about Lazard or Chark. But if Landry and OBJ came from LSU (where the offense is so terrible outside the running game) then anything is possible for Chark.

I am in luuuuuv with Washington. Id take him before Sutton right now. Hes even in consideration for my 1.02 pick. The combine and draft could obviously change everything of course.
