Is Mckinnon worth #1 waiver spot

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Is Mckinnon worth #1 waiver spot

Postby MNnoles » Tue Oct 03, 2017 5:56 pm

I've been going back and forth wether to use my #1 waiver claim on Jerrick for the team in the Sig below. Losing Cook hurt. I'm 4-0 and have the most points so far in my league.

Probably not, but I would stop short of saying there will be something better later in the season. Bottom line is I think he's justifiable for your No 1 Waiver claim but I'd gamble on passing for something better

Is anyone else available? I'd rather get McGuire/A Jones/Gallman over McKinnon. LMurray is still a talent, people are sleeping on him. Apparently he isn't fully recovered from his surgery but I believe when he is 100% he can push for a greater share into the future of Cooks touches.

All those rb's you mentioned are rostered. There arent alot ofoptions on the ww, unless you like Darkwa, Tolbert, Cunningham, maybe Ekeler, but he is more a long term play. I need someone who can help out this year, losing cook and all. I have tried to make some trades, but everyone is asking for more than in willing to pay. I have no faith in Murray, I feel Mckinnon could actually end up getting alot more work than just the 3rd down back.

I don't think I would, but I'd certainly try to add him after waivers are processed. I do however think I would pick up Tolbert with a #1 WW claim. I'm surprised he isn't already owned as he's easily one of the most valuable handcuffs in fantasy. If McCoy went down, he'd be very valuable in a run-heavy offense. Ekeler is also an interesting player in Dynasty. Not sure I'd use a #1 WW priority on him unless you don't think there's anyone better now or a few weeks from now.

This is a case where you are allowing opportunity to become too much of a factor. We saw McKinnon last season was awful as a feature back. He's not even on the same tier as Murray. I'd rather wait but if he's on the wire there are surely other options that are as well.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

X3.

As a Vikes fan, you can't even call him a passing down back. He looks like he just ate greasy popcorn every time the ball gets close. This is Murray's backfield unless they bring someone in.

Is Mccissic available. I like him over McKinnon. Production always trumps talent/draft capital in SEA. Could envision him overtaking Procise at some point this year.
