I don't understand how he slipped the cracks i didn't hear anything about him during the rookie draft around May. I should have saw it coming though, never was sold on Rawls because he was too injury prone and Lacy is trash. I would've thought Cj would have got more work though

My quesiton is:

Is it time to pay attention because he's actually very talented long-term?

or

Is it time to pay attention because Rawls isn't at full speed, Lacy is struggling and Prosise is just a receiving back?

Talented long term is tough to say, but he has looked good this far. I did not think much of him at all because he did not look like much last year.

Long term value seems unlikely to me. Best case he's the starter for this season and next (if he's good enough that the Seahawks don't really need to focus on RB this offseason). That's valuable, but he doesn't strike me as a guy the FO will want to keep around as the primary guy. I'm still a Rawls believer, but even if he does fully pass Rawls he won't be a long-term play.

what type of return value would you need for carson? say high upside guys who haven't done much thus far. treadwell or doctson, or would you need an established WR like J Matthews or G Tate. trying to gauge carson value is difficult.

Carson's value for me is a 2nd. If I can move him for a 2nd or more then it's a win. I don't see it, even if he does have the starting role this year.

I would second this right now. However, he will most likely shape up to be worth a 2018 1st to a contending team later in the 2017 season if he keeps the role and continues to produce. I am a fan and owner. Banged the drum early in the preseason. Do not see SEA investing in RB in the near future. They have too many holes in the oline. He fits what they like to do and has produced despite the terrible line.

I can't blame anyone waiting for a 1st. I wouldn't want to risk it, though. I'd rather cash out and be glad I was able to add another asset.

Yes wrong section, but definitely take it!!! I'm excited to hear that his value is that high at the moment.
Of course Carson could break out further over the course of the season and I'd say only then would the values be equal, so to get Doctson now is a win for you in terms of value, imo.

Who's starting him with confidence Sunday? Will he be the lead back and get 20 carries again,or does Rawls steal some of his snaps?

He will probably peak to Rawls like value next off season if he stays healthy and produces even modest numbers. I don't think he is a long term hold since Seattle has this weird RB trend lately and we all know the overall RB reliability outside of the top few guys is really hit or miss. I generally will flip a guy when I can make a generous, fast profit and only hold when I am really sold on his talent and situation. When a guy was free and I can get upwards of a first, I will almost never turn that down. That is how you end up turning the Charizard Wests of the world into guys like Fournette.
